Just finished reading and watching Gerald's Game, thought both were fantastic. The scene when she gets out of the cuff, sweet Jesus, I wasn't expecting them to go into so much depth. Got me a little squirmish. Started Carrie yesterday and I am flying through it, a very easy read.

Yesssss. How many King references were in there? Only ones I could make out were Shawshank and maybe Cell.

Oh shit, 1922 tonight, totally forgot. Getting pretty good reviews, 86% on rt. I was planning on watching Dream Warriors tonight but I guess that's not happening.

    Also Strange Weather Tuesday.

I felt like I had to take a break from reading after I spent the summer of 2016 killing myself by obsessively walking for four hours a day while reading books, but I finally feel comfortable easing back into it now and I’m 100 pages into IT and I can see why I got so into this last year

Keep an eye out for The Stand reference in 1922 (it's right away)

Thomas Jane was sooo good in 1922. He is such an underrated actor.

Finally finished up The Stand yesterday. My plan is to keep going in order for now so The Dead Zone is next. I just have a few other books to read before I get to it. Had a slow start with The Stand, but it was a fantastic read.

I know I'm late to respond to this but how do you walk and read at the same time? That'd be incredibly hard and distracting to me

It took a bit to get used to I guess, but eventually I got to the point where whenever I was reading I was like “I’m not really doing much, I’d might as well be walking.” Basically I’m just talented af

How do you go from finishing a book (for the first time?) to teaching it so quickly?

Limited assortment of tips and tricks that can carry through to every story you do. I made up analysis questions per chapter as I read in order to spur discussion. I have a bunch of graphic organizers that fit the mold of most stories (characters/setting/themes etc.). Most of my class is discussion based, anyway.

Have you seen the movie for Green Mile or will this be your first time with that story?

I’ve had Sleeping Beauties for a week but have been super busy so I haven’t gotten too far in but it’s starting off very nicely.
