It's weird to me that it seems like No Sleep is making a lot of money on the 10-year anniversary Proper represses. Hopefully Evan is getting his fair cut.

 

yup, no sleep has been pretty much bankrupt for years and only lived by repressing old records, for some reason they became a somewhat functioning label again this year but they're still pretty horrid and i don't trust them at all

 

It was maybe three or four years ago when I'd be going to their warehouse to pickup records I ordered, but then everything quickly changed. They lost that office space, everything was outsourced to Merchnow (yuck), and shady rumors/dealing began popping up online.

 

So, I finally pulled the trigger today on my new turntable system.

I bought the U-Turn Orbit Plus (in white) with the built-in preamp and cue-lever. Decided to pair it with Audioengine A2+ powered speakers with a pair of desktop stands. Will post pictures once it arrives and I set it up!

2) Accidentally (didn't think I would win) won a bid on eBay for the B&C/Braid 7" from No Sleep on Sunday night. Let's see if/when this ships...

I’ve only ordered from SRC once, it was during a flash sale earlier this year. I got 4 LPs and got shipping notification after a few days and they were packed well and delivered fine. Hopefully that makes you feel a little less nervous.

 

Is the Instigator vinyl clear with red and green splatter? Didn’t see any variants online for cream with red splatter so I’m just curious.
