Ripple is a perfect opener, gets stuck in my head the most often and when i play that, im playing the whole thing. Echoing the love for the drums, really want them to explore this sound even more on their next album. I know a few people said new songs sound happier? which is totally tight, they can do no wrong.

 

An album like dancing would be cool

 

I'm more wanting some Late Lives type sounding songs. I know lyrically that one is pretty bleak, but musically its a little lighter than the rest. I think Dancing is a little too far on the bright side for me when it comes to them.

 

Ripped TLLA on the commute home today. Such Confidence still might be my favorite on the album.

I liked this album when it came out but it was such a dense season for new releases I loved that I never spent a whole lot of time with it. Randomly revisited it this week and it clicked in a major way. What a masterpiece.

 

has anyone seen them on this current tour? im catching it in november and would love to hear that theyre playing a new song

 

they're playing the same new song they've been playing at all their shows in the last year
