where is the November ps plus announcement?? feel like we should have it by now.

 

Mario Odyssey is a joy so far. I really want to at least start Wolfenstein 2 today too.

 

Always the Wednesday before the first Tuesday of the month, so it'll be next Wednesday.

Wait...did I read this right? Last of Us multiplayer is "awful by almost any standard"? Are you serious? The Last of Us multiplayer is excellent. I love collecting parts, crafting weapons all while being limited with ammo. Great multiplayer and one of my favorite during the last generation. What didn't you like?

 

TLOU Factions was such a breath of fresh air for me after a string of FPS MP kept letting me down. Everything about it was awesome and it actually encourages teamwork which was cool.

Sounds like visceral was in chaos for a near half decade.

 

I adore the multiplayer, but I'll note the main things I feel are below par compared to bigger multiplayer games:

- I don't know the exact reason - graphics, frame rate, connection or something - but you so often are downed when your completely in cover with no body parts visible. Or you'll see when watching after you've been killed that people are hitting enemies when the crosshairs aren't even aiming at them etc. Its like theres a bubble around you where, if you hit that rather than a direct hit on a player, they will take damage.
- The controls are very slow/clunky and take a lot of getting used to
- The matching of the teams is the most frustrating thing of all. 9/10 games the teams will just be matched horrifically where ill be on a team of 4 where I'm the only player over level 100, and all 4 on the other team will be level 300+ lol. Drives me nuts

That being said, I was literally so engrossed in the game that i may just be being overly picky.

 

Started AC Origins: Oh man the graphics, textures, lighting, shadows. And there's so much exploration and loot right at the beginning. I'm looking forward to this I also stop to look around and take screenshots. There's so much detail.

 

I like it a lot so far. Just hate alligators and the bird.

 

Yeah it really is so bad what they have to put up with. I knew hours could be ridiculous sometimes but I had no idea it could get this bad.

 

Well Wolfenstein II has impressed me with its first hour, fleshes out Blazkowicz with more of his history and ramps up the violence to the point that makes the choice you have to make in The New Order look tame.

 

Man...The New Colossus is something else so far.

Story wise the first hour is insane.

From what I've seen it looks like the most pointless demo of all time. You get 60 seconds for each character.

 

I think this is the first time I’ve been excited about an Assassins Creed game for a while now! The last few haven’t been great.

 

it's good. I've played 5 hours of it already.

 

Definitely one for my Christmas list haha. Still working my way through Horizon at the moment.

 

Wolfenstein 2 is fucking AWESOME. I really liked the last one but even an hour and a half in, everything about this is an improvement - the gunplay, the style, even early characterization and story. It starts off perfectly.

 

I think I’ll pick up AC after Christmas as I’ve just bought Mario and that’ll keep me busy for a while. I definitely want to play it though it looks great.

 

Lightning Returns is really fun, provided you skip through the story cutscenes.

 

This year has been so weird and often bad and this new Mario game makes me so happy. I just played the little festival moment and I straight feel like crying happy tears. What an incredible game. Wow.

 

I wasn't going to pick up Wolfenstein this soon, but i don't think I can resist the urge any longer
