Also waiting for pre-order of the new Slaughter Beach, Dog. Probably pick up the new Julien Baker at my local shop tomorrow.

I got the Moulin Rouge soundtrack from Urban Outfitters, but the idiot who packaged it put it in a plastic bag that I assume is meant for shipping clothes. So of course, 3 of the corners are MAJORLY damaged. This is the first time I've ordered vinyl from UO, and the other 2 records came in different mailers (they all shipped separately), which makes me think they kind of just grab whatever is closest to them to ship them in instead of having a uniform way of packaging records.

TL;DR- Urban Outfitters sucks

Day & Age, Sawdust, Direct Hits, and Sam’s Town are all being repressed on 180g vinyl with a release date of 12/15/17.

Been meaning to pick up sawdust for a while. Going to preorder I‎t. Already own sam’s town and never could get into Day & Age so I think that’s the only one I’m going to preorder.

 

Preordered Direct Hits so fast

 

Do you or would you listen to it often? Having their other records, I would never play it.

Been looking for Day and Age forever. Was getting really close to dropping a hundred bucks for it, but was hoping for a repress. Thanks for the heads up!

 

I'll get Sawdust for sure. There's no reason for Direct Hits but I wish there was a 7 inch of Shot at the Night / Just Another Girl

 

I have Hot Fuss, Sam's Town, and Battle Born. Don't really care for the new album or Day & Age but the songs I would want off Day & Age are on Direct Hits. I also love Shot at the Night. I actually enjoy having greatest hits records just because I feel less tied down to listening to the whole thing. Plus whenever friends or family wants to hear the killers I'll just throw that on.

 

Would kill for a 7" of Shot at the Night/Just Another Girl. Can't pull the trigger on Direct Hits when I have their full discography, or will when I buy Day and Age. Only place I found was Sound Stage Direct, is that where everyone is preordering? I've never used them before, but don't see any preorders on Amazon, where I normally order online.

Brian Fallon's new album pre-order goes live at 2 pm EST today. I'll be sure to get on that.

 

I'm (im)patiently awaiting my Sci Fi limited variant as well. Doubting we'll see them for a couple weeks at least because Brand New.

Also haven't gotten my August Burns Red pre-order which is a bummer because they released it like three weeks ago.

Other stuff I'm waiting on is the 25 year pressing of Automatic for the People, the new Mansions EP, and the Pink 10 year pressing of Even If It Kills Me. I haven't actually been to any record stores in a few weeks too which is sad for me personally.

 

I have the Julien Baker album pre-ordered and looks like it won't arrive till tomorrow or Monday

 

At this point I think all of us are gonna be super bummed if the limited variant isn't significantly better than the indie store one. I understand that production delays happen, but hopefully that means a better overall product once its done.

 

My Julien Baker preorder isn't scheduled to arrive until November 3rd :(

 

Nice! I have a copy of BTHATS, but still need to get my hands on Mi Fa Mi. Didn't even know that 7" existed until now.

Edit: It's limited to 12 copies? That's just mean.

 

If its just a 180g Black with some "deluxe" packaging I'm gonna be wicked bummed that I didn't snag the Red/Blue Indie because that one looks gorgeous

 

Looks like SMLXL is pressing Maylene's "II". I'll probably snag that when it drops.
