Battlefront II for Black Friday is my game plan as well. I also still need to get Crash HD.

 

I still need to pick the Tomb Raider sequel up. Absolutely loved the first one, but what with the exclusivity deal then just not having much money for games I haven't got round to it. I was trying to wait till it was below £20, might have to look tonight.

Edit: Fuck it. Just searched Amazon. £25 brand new, or the art book edition for £26. Went and bought the art book one. Forgot how excited I was for that game when it was an Xbone exclusive.

 

I still want to get:

Mario (on it's way)
Assassin's Creed (I'll wait for the Xbox One X launch though)
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Need For Speed

Maybe Battlefront.

Also, my birthday present, the new South Park, has been delayed, but I'll get that one too.

 

Ugh, I forgot about XC2 entirely. Still need to finish the first (started again recently with the HD mod on PC...game looks SO MUCH BETTER) and XCX, which was fun, but lost amongst dozens of other games in my rotation. Hoping XC2 lives up to the hype (and equally hoping I can finish at least one of the prior games before it comes out)

 

I think this will be the 4th time I buy KOTOR. Worth every penny.

 

Life is Strange: Before the Storm will probably be my GOTY until I pick up a Switch in December, unless episode 3 is awful.

 

Just reading this thread is making me all jittery. How do y'all manage so many games?? I get maybe an hour or two of gametime daily unless it's a weekend, in which case I can sometimes grab a few more. Worst part is I love RPGs of all kinds, forever my favorite genre, but also enjoy stuff like Stardew Valley that I can chip away at and multiplayer stuff (Overwatch, PUBG, whatever my flavor of the week is.) Do you guys just not finish stuff or are you like superhuman??

I'm just so easily distracted that I can't focus on one thing. Still somehow haven't beaten FFXV despite my hype over it at release (planning to pick it up again starting next month just so it didn't take me an ACTUAL year to beat lol)

I will say, though, my Switch has been my saving grace for daily gaming - so many great casual titles to pass the time, I can take it to work, play in bed while my wife sleeps, etc.

 

i add things to a backlog list and then get around to playing them two years after they come out

 

yeah, my general rule is nothing like destiny, etc. i am too susceptible to the grind of it all and i know i would waste an entire day off trying to get the perfect drop and there are just too many great games to allow myself to get entrenched in the monotony of just one.

give me a cuphead: a great single player/co-op experience that i can put to bed in 10-15 hours and i'm happy

 

Yeah, the Switch is amazing in that regard. I'll bring it places, or flights, and get an hour or two out of it that I wouldn't with a traditional system. Because of that, I don't play my XBone or PS4 as much. At night, I'll get in my comfortable bed and play Golf Story for an hour instead of going into the basement and booting up a console.

 

Yeah, Destiny 2 has sucked up a fair bit of my time, though not as much as D1 due to less compatible schedules with friends. Speaking of Cuphead, forgot I started that, too...

 

i have slowed down on Cuphead because my roommate tried/enjoyed it and i'll prob play the rest with him, but i'm gonna go try and get A or better on island one this week

 

It being on a portable makes it more likely for me that I finish it

 

I used to only play smite and destiny but now i have limited my smite to a few games followed up by whatever game I am trying to complete.

 

I think part of my problem is time wasted on games I want to love more than I do. I've spent hours doing nothing close to the end of FE: Conquest because I love the series, but I'm stuck at a part that I don't feel too driven to get past, yet I keep insisting on trying. I gotta get better about just dropping stuff and moving on.

 

I wish @electro haikus would get Destiny 2 tho

 

my roommate is the biggest Destiny stan i know. i'll have a ps4 by the end of the year and i'm sure i'll be pressured into it lol

 

I finished the main game of State Of Decay with one missing achievement that got glitched so I’m bitter.

I’m just going to have to borrow my co-worker copy since he has the complete edition to get the DLC achievements and that glitched one.

It’s now on to Costume Quest 2.

 

I wish Costume Quest had the sequel numbers of like Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy. In a perfect world.

you on steam? as a completionist I unapologetically used SAM for when an achievement is glitched out

 

I do indeed have a steam account but not for this game.

I’ve been playing all the spooky games on the X1.

 

I might get a few games on sale digitally, but new stuff is looking like AC:O, and maybe the complete Horizon edition. Never got around to playing the Witcher 3 dlc, so I’ll try and get that complete edition as well.

Trying to pick up a Switch with Zelda, Mario, and Stardew Valley by the end of the year as well. XB2 is a maybe, will have to look more into it as reviews come out.

 

Damn so I got AC origins for only $20 thanks to 3 trade ins.

Can't wait to pick it up.
