The horror

 

It's weird how much Resident Evil falls off once you get the stronger weapons and the ammo starts to flow in. The game is at its strongest when you don't know if you have enough pistol ammo to make it through the next room.

I still enjoyed all of RE7. I guess I was just relieved, because one encounter, I used all my bullets, and was getting destroyed by 4 molded. Then I didn't play the game again for 4 months.

 

tbf that's the exact same for all of them. except 5 and 6 which are just boring from the start.

 

You right. I remember Code Veronica being a nightmare when I got to the Tyrant fight with nothing but pistol rounds. Ugh. After that was smooth sailing.

 

It just took me 55 straight minutes to beat Rumor Honeybottoms on Cuphead. Damn my thumbs are sore.

 

My 6 year old neogaf account got banned last week because I made a snippy comment about Seth McFarlane being a hypocrite. Glad to see I don't need to be bummed about it anymore.

 

yeah the first few hours of 7 are great but you're too overloaded with ammo by the end. 4 was the same way. I don't remember beating code veronica, but I know I barely made it through 2 with enough ammo.

Sony Music have pretty much always published games on other platforms. Playstation actually spun out of Sony Music.

 

That's right but this a different era

 

This is a Sony game!

 

Sony Music are pretty much a different company to SIE, they're quite separate. They set up a publishing house to make mobile games and make penny. So much so they were the top grossing mobile publisher in August. Think they just want more of that.

 

Yeah they're different departments, but Sony did go through some consolidation recently, and this is a console game rather than a mobile gam. It's not like crazy, but a little odd to me regardless.

 

For sure it's odd! Would love to hear the meetings the two departments had. But if Kaz signed off on it, they must have a plan. Might be remnants of vita publication too. First party handheld is dead to Sony
