Irony? Is that like goldy and bronzy, only it's made of iron?

i'm a firm non-believer, but let me tell you I went on an extremely eerie and crepy ghost tour in New Orleans last year and, I don't think my opinions change but I tend to be more open minded to people who say they've experienced encounters or claim to have seen things.

Since we're on the subject. I posted this in the creepy experiences thread a while back:

Creepiest thing that's ever happened to me:

I was in the living room with my ex. She asked me to grab something from the basement. The basement was to the left of us. The bathroom was to the right of us down the hallway.

Coming up from the basement I heard her talking to someone. When I came in the room she looked like she had just seen a ghost upon seeing me walk out of the basement.

I said "Who were you talking to?" She said "I was talking to you. You came up from the basement about a minute ago, looked at me with a blank stare and kept walking down the hallway towards the bathroom. I was about to come walk to the bathroom to see why you were ignoring me."

Still to this day it freaks me out to wonder what she would've seen, had she gone to the bathroom where that unknown entity walked to

I’ve had only one experience that was a little out of the norm but I’ve known multiple people that I trust that have had have really weird experiences. I’m not going to reduce it to something as simple as “ghosts aren’t a real,” but I will say I think that those kind of occurrences are just things we don’t understand (yet). Like, I don’t believe that someone can die and roam the earth, but I do think that energy is real and that it’s possible for it to leave an impression somewhere. That’s my working theory. But no I don’t think ghosts are real in the traditional sense.

I worked at this theatre built in the 30’s and some people I know who are skeptics like myself experienced some weird shit so who knows

This is exactly why I posted it. I knew it would spark discussion one way or another and people would have some stories to tell. @truelovewaits takes the cake so far.

The creepiest thing I've ever seen was the story about how a couple believed they were being haunted. They were hearing things at night, constantly finding stuff moved or missing, including food, and all around just feeling like something else was present in their apt. They set up a camera to find that SOMEBODY WAS LIVING IN THE AIR DUCT LEADING TO THEIR APT ABOVE THE DOOR, AND EVERY NIGHT WAS CLIMBING DOWN SLOWLY AROUND LIKE 2 OR 3 AM, EATING THEIR FOOD, WATCHING TV, AND WHATEVER ELSE FOR MOONNNNTTHHHSSS.

I would have to move, I would be so utterly freaked out.

Also about security cameras. It’s dirt cheap to get a high quality security camera with audio these days

Possibly. I’ve literally never seen one that’s 1080p with food sound at any of my places of employment.

Edit: not saying you’re wrong but it’s just something I’ve never seen

It was, and idc that it wound up not being paranormal, that story scares me shitless thinking about someone watching me for months in my own home. Being right there the whole time and me feeling off but not knowing why.

Dude get on that! Only eight episodes so you still got time before season 2!

Larry would just laugh at Cheryl "Ok, Ok. You're seeing ghosts, ok."
Larry would joke around with Jeff about how she's seeing ghost allegedly. "What is this obsession with people and ghosts?"
Cheryl and Suzi would set up a stunt that would involve him thinking there were ghosts in the house.
The episode ends with him screaming "Cheryl!!" queue the music.

I’m excited but also cautiously optimistic. I don’t like that they’ve already said things like, “yeah we hope to renew it for five more seasons” or something like that. Just let the story do it’s thing and then feel it out from there, ya know? I’m not even big into comic book stuff but I thought the first season in Daredevil was really good cause it was just a self contained story. Then season two came along and they knew they were an open-ended series and the writing became a lot weaker because of that fact imo

One time, in college, my roommate and I had just finished cleaning the kitchen after a party, but there was one random spot that smelled like sambuca. Seriously, if you took a step in any direction, no smell, just that particular spot.

Creepiest part: no one at the party was even drinking sambuca!

there was this old waldbaums near where my parents live that was built on the grounds of an old orphanage that burned down a loonggg time ago, and children were killed in the fire.

people would always say at night when they were either about to close or working overnight shifts (whenever it would be quiet enough to hear) they would always say they heard the sounds of children talking/running and cans and boxes would very randomly start falling off the shelves.

this could very well be perpetuated by people that worked there that found this out, but either way, creepy, and anything that involves ghost children is even creepier IMO
