Iunno if you watch Hot Ones (eat progressively super hot wings as you get interviewed) on youtube but he was on it recently lol.

Terry is impossible to dislike.

 

Honestly, I generally stay away from that area so I don’t even know what’s down there these days. But you can definitely spend some time wandering around and find plenty of shops and such.

There is a place on the MagMile called Howells & Hood that has over 100 beers on tap.

Yes like KidLightning said, that has ended unfortunately. I heard it was cool, but when I walked by there after the Against Me! show the other day on my way to a different bar, it looked like it was at least a 2 hour line. Can't be that cool haha

I like the Reckless downtown. I go there quite a bit, mostly because of convenience, but they have a pretty decent selection. But I agree, the Wicker Park area is definitely more exciting to explore, so it may be worth making the trip out there.

I'd also have to tell you to try to make it to Portillos. There's one not far from you at all.

As far as shops along Mag Mile, it's pretty standard stuff, so I'd say just kind of walk around and see. It's also probably worth going a little further south on Michigan to check out Millenium/Grant Park. That's where the bean, a few other art things, and the Buckingham Fountain are.

And I feel like I'd be dropping the ball if I didn't tell you that if you find yourself needing uh.. late night food at any point, you should consider heading over to Cheesie's for the best grilled cheese sandwich of your life. But also know it will probably take at least a month off your life

Classic case of peaking too soon with that record long winning streak. Sad because they have such a good team but tbh Yankees can definitely hold their own. I hate them less than I used to. At least they are building with young guys finally and not simply stacking up with old players like they used to and try and buy themselves a championship team every year.

I figured the Yankees were going to lose to the native Americans and I'll assume they'll lose to the Astros but we shall see.

 

Thanks! Yeah I'm happy they won. Don't like Franconia for obvious reasons so glad he lost. Don't really have anything against Cleveland though and if the yanks weren't in it I would have been rooting for them as they're the longest drought team I think.

Should be a good series in houston though.
