My daughter got her monthly Imagination Library book in the mail today so we read that a few times haha

 

umpire is really bad. consistently bad, but really bad. low = strike, high = strike, outside = strike. everything is a strike.

 

Nothing frustrates me more (in baseball) than a terrible strike zone.

 

I looked into that, but it’s not available here.

We read one of the little blue truck books and The Going To Bed Book.

 

When are you getting into Chicago and where did you decide to stay?

 

We get there Saturday and we decided to stay at the Hilton!

 

Yeah, I’m not exactly sure why it’s available some places but not others. I moved (only about 30 miles) two years ago and it wasn’t available at my old place but is available at my new place ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nice! What, if anything, are you planning to do here besides the show?

 

Yeah, I don’t know, but we’re lucky that we have a library literally a block away. And they do a free storytime at least twice a week, which the kids love nd they get to socialize with other kids.

That's a good question haha. Not exactly sure yet tbh. Any vinyl stores you recommend hitting up in the downtown area?

 

Apparently there's a Stranger Things themed place forget what it's called. Any of you in Chicago been to it? Sorry for the very vague details. Let me try looking it up right now.

Edit: Looks like its called Emporium Popups - House of the dead. Not really sure what it is.

 

There’s a Reckless Records in the Loop, a little south from where you’ll be, but it’s kind of small. There’s another in Wicker Park, west of where you’ll be, I haven’t been there in years but that’s probably a better neighborhood to explore. Downtown isn’t really all the exciting.
