I did see that, so it’ll probably be disappointing when I get it anyway haha.

 

My pressing of The Amulet came in last night and I'm v excited about it. Got the special edition with the alternative silver artwork and Blue swirl vinyl. Its so prettyyyyyyyyyy

 

I hope it won't be as disappointing as their NYC set was last night.

I just think they didn't sound as good as they could have. Lynn just seemed...off.

 

So I got $5 off Hot Topic's site, expires at midnight. Not a lot of records I really want, but I can't tell if I should get Thursday's Kill the House Lights or One of BMTH's second or third album haha.

 

Ugh I always stare at the kill the house light listing and never pull the trigger

 

My hangup is that I have the CD and don't really *need* a second copy. Wouldn't be an issue, but I got it when I was just a young pup at Target when it came out. I thought it was a new album because I was a dummy, but I still loved all those studio songs.

 

I don’t have the cd but I do have it downloaded I think. My main drive for the vinyl is to just complete the Thursday collection haha. Otherwise BMTH is tempting. The orchestral and electronic parts on either album would sound great.

My Thursday collection is weird. I have all the CD's, except CE, which I got rid of when I got the vinyl. But I have:
Five Stories
Envy Split
CE
ND.

No waiting, full collapse, war all the time, and saddest of all no City. So getting KTHL would make it feel even weirder.

But yeah, I really like There is a Hell, it's clearly their best imo, but the opening two songs on Suicide Season are like my two favorite metalcore songs even if the rest of the album is meh to pretty good

 

Another hangup: I finally preordered Choirs of the Eye, the greatest album to ever be written, and that sets me back a QUICK 50. So spending more on vinyl in the same day is tough haha

 

Worst case scenario, $5 off something that costs 15-20 and likely isn’t going anywhere isn’t a huge missed opportunity. Can usually at least find KTHL on eBay relatively cheap too.

 

What are your rates for being my life-coach? It might be nice to keep you round

 

We’re entering the lull season since people aren’t worried about beach bodies so rates dip a bit. My door is always open.

 

On the topic of Thursday, when're War all the Time and City gon get represses? Those are definitely my two favorites.

 

WATT is my second favorite album but City is definitely the best looking record I own. I’d get a second to put on display haha

 

Yeah that variant is wild, would love to have a copy of that, I hope it gets repressed in the same variant or 180g black

 

I own every Thursday album on vinyl (including the Doves 10”) besides Kill The House Lights. Also been tempted for a while if only to complete my discography.

I had come to terms with I‎t, but then I thought I’d ask the Thursday thread as a last resort and I got lucky, which never happens.

 

I own a copy of WATT which is probably my prized record sans the Anberlin collection. And somehow I got a copy that was in perfect condition from eBay for $25.

 

Urban Outfitters are having a 13% off sale. I'm an idiot who fell for it and picked up Nina Simone's "A Very Rare Evening", Sampha's "Process", and the Moulin Rouge (!!!!!!!!) soundtrack.
