Got the bulk of my writing / instruments done. Planned on penning some lyrics and doing vocals on Thursday but now I've been asked to work half a day (got Book of Mormon tickets for that evening and then I'm leaving for a weekend camping trip the next morning).

I don't know if I'll get vocals done before Sunday night (when I get home from camping). I may be cutting it really close!

 

I recorded my whole song today! Just finished it. It's a remake of a song I wrote in 2006.

Well I got one recorded, might submit a real old song as well just for shits

 

I submitted a super old one that's been sitting on my computer for years. I'm gonna try and record something new this weekend, probably won't finish, but I'll try. I'm glad I was able to submit something though.

 

Thanks! I think I'll find time (at least on the due date). Currently the only time I could record vocals is first thing in the morning... I've got to warm up plenty first. And when I get home at night my wife is usually going to bed.

 

Alright, just submitted my two songs. They're both demos from my band. I don't sing in either of them, but I did 100% of the instrumentation.

 

Nice! This is already the biggest compilation we've done so far! Over 30 tracks have been submitted, at this point. I'm going to have to cancel some meetings to be able to review this whole thing track by track, haha.
