I had tickets to Pharoahe Monch and Patrick Park (separate shows, obviously) and missed both of them. I had a gnarly toothache the night of Pharoahe.

Also missed Born Ruffians last time they came through, The Fall Of Troy's Doppelganger show, and Motion City Soundtrack's CTTM show - had a ticket for that one too... fuck.

I remember skipping The Wonder Years at The House Cafe (tiny venue) because Fireworks dropped off (Dave's dad died). I was just getting into TWY at the time. It was the first show they played Local Man.

In 2007, Fall Out Boy played a secret show in Buffalo, NY under the name Schrute Farms. It was a 300-cap venue (essentially a floor show) and they only played Take This to Your Grave. Oh, and Four Year Strong opened. I was too young.

Just looked up the setlist! Eight songs from TTTYG and a Pantera cover. That would have been a blast.

Most shows I regretted missing at the moment, I don't really care about missing now that time has passed. Most of the artists I missed I got to see later on, or I stopped listening to them. If I miss out on a tour it's almost always because the artist skipped my area, so I don't regret it as much as I get annoyed that I never had a chance to go in the first place.

There's so many I deeply regret not going to. Over the past decade all of the people I would go to shows with have moved cross country, so my partners in crime are no longer able to accompany me and I've been going alone, which is not the same in a myriad of ways. I bought tickets to the Saves the Day/Say Anything tour and did not go the day of, I missed the 10 year Cartel anniversary tour, I missed the Movielife in march, all of which I had purchased tickets with full intent of going. I'm an idiot when it comes to social anxiety and I should've just gone and stood in the balcony or something, but I didn't. Oh well :(

This was the biggest bullshit, still salty about it.

My biggest show regret is probably not going to see Bomb the Music Industry play all of the Blue album and Pinkerton.

My biggest regret for years was not seeing armor for sleeps reunion at bamboozle, and fortunately was able to see the 10 year show. Biggest regret now is probably never seeing alexisonfire. Not too many regrets about specific tours, tho this year's taste of chaos may be one.

Jimmy Eat World's Futures anniversary tour for me --- but it didn't come to MI so I would have had to travel to see it.

also spraynard played my favorite space in summer 2012. it was finals week so i told myself they'd come back in the fall and passed. they broke up two months later lol

Probably my biggwat regret was not driving up to Milwaukee to see the Something Corporate reunion tour. My uncle's funeral was the weekend that played Bamboozle here in Chicago. I got to see The Movielife at Riot Fest last year so now Something Corporate is the only band I haven't been able to see yet. I am not sure I will ever get the chance again.

I remember New Found Glory did an Easycore tour with ADTR and FYS. I didn't have a job or money at the time and there wasn't a Chicago date so I can't really get too upset about missing that one.

I had tickets to see Mitski/Palehound/PWR BTTM in Columbus last fall but I didn't go because I was having a pretty bad day.

Really wish I went now. :verysad:

Main ones are: 2004, Boys Night Out played in my city (more like small town really) and my cousin asked me to go, I said no.. Can't believe I didn't like them back then, oh well! A few years back, I had tickets to go see Biffy Clyro, but was not able to make it, another disappointment! I know there are others, but I'm kind of blanking right now..

    Whatever. Forever.

Not seeing Brand New at Riot Fest 2013. I didn't listen to them and then got into them a month later and I was pissed.

I don't regret that at all! I remember watching The Wonder Years and Bayside but I couldn't wait for 4 more hours until AFI or Brand New. I had never seen either band at that time but the weather was absolutely terrible.

This one I couldn't have gone to, but I really hate that I didn't see one of the Everything in Transit anniversary shows.

I missed that gaslight/thrice/rise against/trio tour as well and that's definitely a big regret of mine. I had seen all those bands but gaslight before, and now I have yet to still see gaslight haha. I also missed when the trio was touring for their acoustic album because of my ex-girlfriend. Luckily, they did the past lives show in orlando last year and I was able to go to all 4 nights.

One other regret was not missing a whole show, but one band. It was the manchester orchestra/kevin devine/brand new tour and I was going with a group of friends and only my brother and I cared about MO and KD. We got there just right before KD got on stage, but we missed MO and seeing where have you been performed by MO, KD, and Jesse Lacey. I got to see manchester orchestra headline and at a festival since then, but missing that set still stings.

Fun thread! Some people have mentioned missing the Thrice/ALK3/Rise Against/Gaslight tour. I remember Gaslight getting a very poor reaction in MA, not quite booed, but just apathetic. Wrong crowd for them at the time.

Some shows I remember missing and regretting:
-Boys Night Out/ My Chemical Romance at a 200 cap venue; out of town for work.
-My Chemical Romance at a 200 cap bar; was just lazy and wasn't super into the 2nd album at the time.
-Jesse Lacey/Kevin Devine/Andy Hull- was not a huge Brand New fan at the time and underestimated how quickly it would sell out.

Nothing has really been a regret in the past 5+ years.

I just regret not seeing The Swellers more when they were still around. The silver lining is I was at their final American show which is still one of my top shows. The Take Action tour they did had a great lineup

Every Time I Die / Four Year Strong / Trapped Under Ice / Polar Bear Club / The Wonder Years

At The Hangout in Erie, PA. Was gonna go but my parents wouldn't let me drive out of state and then let me drive to the same venue 3 weeks later to see Set Your Goals / Comeback Kid / Title Fight / Make Do and Mend.

Also regret not going to any of The Bouncing Souls discography shows or the Brand New ones.
