I used to work for an MLB team and I got to meet/work with Katie for a night. She's the coolest, funniest person and super smart. Stoked.

 

It definitely seemed like they either stopped giving her work or she was unsatisfied with working there and waited till her contract was up. There are other good people on fs like nick Wright who I'm sure will probably look to get out too when their deals are up.

i follow this stuff... foxsports had a giant change in programming about a year or so ago when they hired this dude Jamie horowitz (im sure you noticed). They went all in on the "embrace debate" crap and made the entire network about Skip Bayless and Colin Cowhered. They even changed the website to ALL video content..and its video content in relation to what people like Shannon Sharper, Cowhered, and Skip said. Its barely new.


They phased out anything pre-Horowitz...that included Garbage time. Will it work? I don't know. People are pretty dumb and they fucking love the Skip Bayless/Colin Cowherd shit so.

The website stuff is absolutely baffling though. It's the worst sports website bar none

 

The press release for that was insane.
