Still an agreement between clubs but as @George says there's no rule. It wouldn't stand up to scrutiny if there was

I don't think so, when Leicester played Swansea last week he didnt play and wasn't on the bench.

Maybe it's a cup game I'm thinking of. Any way you look at it, that's a helluva lucky loan for him.

Sunderland and Newcastle are going to end up basically relegating each other, aren't they? Hope Sunderland stay up like...

Newcastle/Sunderland both going down would be the best case scenario

It took a last minute winner for Ipswich to beat MK Dons. What a team we have.

Would love the Tyne/Wear clubs to both go down. Sunderland going down is preferable.

Steven Naismith has been an utter dud at Norwich hasn't he.

  16. That was a gross foul. Arsenal looking like assholes the last couple minutes.

  17. League seems to be getting stupider these days. It's depressing.

  19. Do Arsenal fans really think they'll be better post-Wenger?

Just bad form I think. I really want them to get into the CL but I've pretty much resigned them to losing it.

At the current time, I'd say yes.

I love Arsene but he has several flaws.

Firstly, his inability to build a cohesive squad. For years, we have had glaring holes in our squad. We had a lightweight and generally poor midfield for a long time, with players like Denilson and Flamini getting serious gametime. Then, with a bit of luck, he fixed this with Coquelin, and to a lesser extent Elneny. For a long time it was also in goal, where we had a succession of "okay" keepers, from Almunia, to Fabianski, and more. We never just got a world class keeper. Then, finally, we bought Cech. A world class keeper. Now though, the glaring holes are in central defence and up top. We have the best playmaker in the world in Ozil, yet we have Giroud up top who is very inconsistent. It's like Wenger is incapable of building a squad with a full complement of players who are consistently good enough.

A new manager who has a history of building solid squads and doesn't have consistent oversights would be a huge bonus.

Also, a growing sense of disconnect with the fans. Whilst I agree with him that the atmosphere at the Emirates is not conducive of good displays, his complete lack of regard for the feeling of the fans is shocking. Alongside this, he never listens to what they have to say and along with the club, his claim that our ticket prices are totally fine shows them as being out of touch. The meeting aiming to give fans a voice was basically an hour of them dismissing everything we said.

I'd love a manager to come in, and say "No league titles for 12 years is unacceptable, and you shouldn't have to pay this much to watch a team bottle good league positions every year." Just a manager who seems to truly care.

As a quick aside, another thing is his motivational skills. There was talk of him "losing the dressing room", but I heard from an ex Arsenal pro that he doesn't really speak to the team anymore. He's a quiet man by nature and doesn't seem to be able to motivate a team anymore. I'd like to at least see a vocal number two come in to deal with this.

Lastly, poor team selection and tactical choices. He had a fairly well balanced central midfield going, with Coquelin and Elneny, then for no reason, he drops Coquelin for Ramsey. Welbeck is doing well up top, only to be dropped for Giroud for no reason. Walcott is continually brought on ahead of Campbell despite Campbell clearly being the better and more consistent/hard working player.

All in all, I think Wenger has been magnificent for us and I love that man to bits, but I think something new needs to happen because we're becoming the new Liverpool.

  22. Well enjoy becoming the new new Man United after he's sacked.

I think Arsenal could benefit from a fresh approach. They're not in the same situation as Man Utd where they have an aging team that is a constant title challenger. Any new manager brought in has a good basis, some good young players and money to spend. Arsenal have stagnated, you can easily see that by watching them struggle this season.

It's easy to say they'll get worse under a new manager, but Wenger can't be there forever. They need to make a change and to make a much better decision in the next manager than what Man Utd done.

Look, he's got to go eventually, he won't be around forever. If now is decided to be a good time, then so be it.

We're not replacing Fergie. Sir Alex won the title the year he left, and went out on a high on his own terms by winning with a rather average team. Arsene hasn't won the title in 12 years and is underperforming.

I absolutely love Arsene to bits and I want him to carry on and win the title more than anything. I want to see him lift that trophy one more time. But I just don't see it happening.

    Trusted

Classy of the Dortmund fans to boo Hummels at every contact of the ball. A player that has been there for 8 years and always given all for the club. A player that has always said that Munich is his home and he would like to return there eventually (within his football carreer or afterwards). What a bunch of assholes they are. It was totally natural that Reus came home but if Hummels comes home he is a traitor...
