I cannot stand the front bottoms, definitely on my list of top hated bands. They have the least amount of musical talent I've ever heard in my life, they make my head hurt and their success makes me absolutely furious. "Dumb dumb music for dumb dumb people" would be their slogan if I was their manager. They're the secondcoming of awful bands like brokencyde, breathe Carolina and garbage like that. One day they were like "punk isn't dumbed down enough, let's write worse lyrics and make the music even more repetitive."

 

Sign me up as a dumb dumb person

this is the weirdest fucking post i've ever seen

 

Front bottoms don’t make me think of brokencyde at all but they are not an enjoyable listen regardless.

 

I've never really liked them but I'm not mad that people do, lol.

I mean I can understand why people don’t like them but those criticisms to that degree are wild

 

I've never been able to get into them, but I really couldn't care less that others like them.

 

The Front Bottoms have always sounded a little too Weird Al for my tastes

 

I like Weird Al tho

 

I like the guy too but I don't listen to his music when I want to listen to music

 

TFB are one of the better bands in this "scene". Load of fun, catchy, I enjoy yhe style of their lyrics etc.

problematic might be the wrong word, it just feels kinda weird idk, I should also admit I'm a total prude

 

To be fair, it was not named with the intention of becoming a renowned band haha.

 

Heres somethat May not be totally unpopular but here:

- that first Yuck record is just wall to wall bangers, and absolutely nails that fuzzy guitar rock sound

- Screaming Females are criminally underrated and Marissa is the best guitarist in indie rock that nobody talks about

 

"I Love You Always Forever" is one of the all-time greats.

Both of these are correct

I mean that opinion is easy to see since the bands are doing different things???

 

All I'm going to say is TFB are like a top 10 band for me.
