I'm a serial Facebook unfriender, I go through very often to get rid of people whom I don't care to talk to again or won't leave me any obvious benefit of keeping around (mostly with band people)

 

I mostly just unfollow people. I have a one and done rule for pretty much everyone but close friends and family. If someone posts some inane or offensive shit or whatever, they're getting the axe. It really helps cut down on the noise.

 

I unfollow those who suck on Facebook but I consider them friends, don't see why I should keep seeing or be associated with things on Facebook I don't want to see regularly haha

 

I'm pretty sure 87% of my anger issues are directly related to seeing a job listed as "entry level" and then reading their requirements for said position which are decidedly not entry level.

 

I've been there so I really feel you.

I apply anyway. I didn't have all of the qualifications for my job bc you know like how do you have 5 years of experience when you JUST got out of school.

 

I usually do that unless I get really pissed off. "We want ten years of technical writing for this position." THEN DON'T ADVERTISE IT AS ENTRY LEVEL.

I'm kinda on to the "jaded beyond belief" portion of the job hunt. Applied to well over 300 jobs and have had 5 interviews.

 

I go into all my interviews with a copy of The Devil and God are Raging Inside of Me and if the interviewer has to ask me what it is I get up and leave

 

It has been very difficult getting a position in biomedical engineering as a result
