I love when Treyarch does that teasing through stuff added in. I remember for BO3 they teased it through putting snapchat things in BO2.

Steam is having an anime game sale, guess I'll pick up what Danganronpa games are on there and Recettear

Rocket Leaguers... Ball mode or not ball mode?

 

I play with ball cam on 99% of the time, and very rarely take it off just to make sure I grab a boost. I know plenty of people who have struggled with using ball cam, but personally it's so much easier for me. I can't play with it off.

 

Just finished replaying Limbo. Ugh, so good.

Just the break I needed from Castle of Illusion. By the time I'm done figuring out the puzzle and not fucking up on stupid shit I'm already out of lives. Frustrating as hell. I don't know why I put myself through platformers, I suck at them so much. I just wish they weren't so pretty, you know?

Limbo is such a huge contrast from Castle of Illusion. No color, no dialogue, no limit to how many times you can die violent deaths.

Played Limbo with a controller this time. The first time, I played it with a keyboard. Controller is definitely easier haha.

What are the other big indie puzzlers/platformers? I have Braid and Super Meet Boy (I don't think I'll ever actually try the latter, I'd probably get super mad at it haha) and I'm waiting to get Binding of Isaac. What else? Child of Light and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons look interesting.

Child of Light is more a turn based RPG. Check out Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, Stick It To The Man, Unraveled and Guacamelee. Those are just ones off the top of my head.

 

Brothers is pretty great although not entirely a platformer. Neat little game though.

 

I love Child of Light. It's beautiful - both the art style and the music. And I enjoy the gameplay.

 

Yep, I've bought lots of stuff from them. Always deliver the keys pretty much instantly and they always work. I use PayPal just for some extra peace of mind about payment but they've never given me a reason not to trust them.

I usually find Kinguin has very similar prices anyway though and they are more popular.

 

Yep. I've used it quite a few times. I buy my PS+ subscription from there as its always cheaper, and I bought Football Manager 2016 for PC. They just email you a code to access the redemption code, from memory.

 

Completed Ratchet & Clank last night. Man, what a delightful game. I just wish the levels went on and on. Going to be right up there for Game Of The Year for me. Really scratched an itch.

 

Ball Cam in Rocket League for everything unless I'm doing aerials.

 

I'm currently about 1/2 way through challenge mode, so so good! It's up there for GOTY as well.

 

I keep meaning to do a re play.

 

So I'm watching this podcast, and they're talking about UC4. They bring up how one of the writers for TLOU, and Uncharted games left to work on an upcoming Star Wars game?! How did I not know this.

 

I would say it is a bit too short for me to throw into GOTY. I 100%'d it in about four days. I'm gonna need something with a little bit more lasting value.

 

Spent last night playing MW2 with some friends. That game is great fun, rage included. If they re-balanced it, fixed the issues, added more maps and upgraded the graphics then I'd be all over it.

 

You watching Easy Allies? Yeah that was a while ago so hopefully we'll see something from it soon.

 

I dunno. I think there's something okay in todays world of Witcher's and Fallout's to have a small but perfectly formed game. I get what you mean though, another two planets or so would've been perfect.

 

Wow, it's that quick to complete? I don't have a PS4...yet, lol. I plan on seeing what the news is regarding the new console at E3 and then going from there.
