I fucked up this week and almost got kicked out of my internship and ruined my graduation plans but I got it worked out. I'm gonna need to go out next weekend though, this was too much stress in two days.

 

Well, I had gotten in trouble for being a few minutes late multiple times earlier in the semester, which is fine because it was totally my fault. But I overslept yesterday and was 45 minutes late (there were also two other occasions where this happened but they let them go). Basically it was reported to my advisor and they thought they needed to terminate my internship. I went and talked to the advisor today and I talked about some things that have been going on in my life that have probably been putting unneeded stress on me. They decided to let me continue, so it seems it will be fine.

 

Hate for Neil deGrasse Tyson is mind boggling to me, dude is so harmless.

what's the general etiquette for friend requesting someone on fb?

i made one three weeks ago and keep getting requests from people (friends of friends) i've talked for five minutes once and will probably never see again. this seems really weird to me but idk if it's considered normal or not

 

If I don't care about them following me I just add them personally, less hassle.

If they flood my feed, I block them from that. I feel like a dick saying no.

 

I think that's probably pretty normal. "Friends" is a very loose term on there, or any social media really

i think the reason it's so uncomfortable is because of how well-defined its hands are compared to its face. like its face is just a pretty generic, featureless smiley but its hands are contoured creations with individual fingers. eugh
