I enjoyed 4 songs off of the album. As a whole, was disappointed. I'll give it another shot later on, maybe second listen will have a different effect.

 

I definitely get it. all you can do is try. if you don't like it, ya don't like it. no biggie

Holy shit I had no idea The Neighbourhood was putting out an EP. They're one of my favorite bands too.

Also, I'm excited to workout to the new Counterparts album.

 

So much music today. Already heard Lecrae and Chelsea Wolfe and they're both amazing, def check them out!

 

I'm halfway through my first listen of Wonderful Wonderful. It has some of my least favorite lyrics that The Killers have ever written, but it's a fine album.

Will be listening to Noah Gundersen and Lecrae later.

 

Will probably just check out Enter Shikari and The Movielife. Maybe Counterparts.

Packed release day! Noah Gundersen’s album is really good. Listening to Circa Survive now. Then it’s on to The Killers, The Wonder Years, and Lights.

 

To be fair, it is an EP of acoustic reworking of previously-released material.

 

Counterparts was a wonderful surprise. Really really good.

 

Need to give circa survive a few more listens to get a feel for it and right now Ive got the killers spinning. It's a very odd choice for an album opener and title track.

 

Already listened to and enjoy: Acephalix, Ufomammut, Wolves in the Throne Room.

Need to listen to: Circa Survive, Counterparts (hope it's got those The 1975 vibes that I love), Godspeed..., Implore, Prawn, Satyricon, With the Dead, Chelsea Wolfe

I agree, Its okay but does definitely lack the hooks of their older stuff. If someone told me this was a new album from Avalanche I wouldnt think twice.

 

As everyone has said, today is stacked. I've listened through the new Counterparts and was pretty happy with it, even though I knew it wouldn't be as good as Tragedy. I've also been actively spinning the Wonder Years EP and fucking love it, especially Coffee Eyes and Dismantling Summer.

 

I just checked out Counterparts because of what you said about the 1975. I don't get it? They're hardcore lol.
