You're probably right. I normally challenge him on a lot of things, but when he catches me in the bathroom I feel so uncomfortable I just agree with whatever he is saying, so he'll leave me alone

I mostly do it because I don't want to hear the terrible sounds other people probably also me, sometimes make in there. But yeah, it could be helpful.

And if you don't feel comfortable confronting him about it directly, go to HR and report it that way (if your company has an HR function).

Oh no way pal. That would be a hard boundary cross for me. I hate when people talk to me while I'm going to the bathroom in any capacity. Tbh no pun intended but it pisses me off to hear that. If I was you I would try and use a private handicap bathroom if I was taking a deuce at work and knew this might happen. I mean it's pretty ridiculous that he does that. What does he say when he walks in there? How does he even know you're in there unless he's literally following you? I mean I don't know what the layout is where you work but it's messed up. I like my privacy especially when I'm going for numéro deux again no pun intended but I wouldn't put up with this shit.

I do offer sincere apology to anyone I offended in the 10+ years I've been on these forums.

I was trying to look at old ap posts not long ago and I stumbled upon some guys blog that was him ranting about why he left ap and he made a list of bad posters and I was one of them.
