I'm suprised by how well this is doing on iTunes... Peaks on the main chart:

    UK:#19, US:#13, AUS:#17, CAN:#15.

By comparison, with "Up All Night" it went something like this:

    UK:#21; US:#19; AUS:#22; CAN:#15.

Crazy that a bumpy, dysfunctional reunion didn't mean a bigger damage popularity wise. I mean it's performing better than their first single in eight years, released with their classic lineup. I also sense there is more attention and hype around the band this time. Hope low streaming doesn't stop "Bored To Death" from entering the Billboard Hot 100...

Now it'll be interesting to see how this performs on Alternative radio. It's certainly a far less inviting climate today than it was five years ago for a band like blink...

I want to share this story about my first time seeing Blink-182 and see if any of you have similar experiences because it is something I'll never forget.

Aug 4th 2001 my parents took me and my girlfriend at the time (8th grade) to see Blink, NFG, & Midtown. I was super nervous about it bc my parents are pretty religious and we all know how vulgar Blink was at the time. When Blink came out they played about 4 songs back to back without saying anything so I kinda relaxed a bit but then the curtain dropped and there was the big flaming FUCK sign. My heart sank & you could see parents leading their kids out of the venue. I knew it was only a matter of time before my parents did the same. I appreciate them so much for sticking through the entire concert (and they actually enjoyed it). It's something we laugh about now. One of the most uncomfortable feelings I've ever had was listening to Blink play "Family Reunion" while standing next to my parents haha. Anyone have any good related stories?

I was at the same tour almost exactly a month later with my dad and a group of friends. 8th grade was a great year haha.

Yeah it does for sure. But looks more...coincidental...especially since Mark said otherwise.

I saw Green Day with my dad (and my best friend and his dad) when I was 12 and Billie Joe pulled his dick out and jerked it for a minute or two

first time I saw blink with my parents was 2011. so the band had settled down some but at one point a fan threw a giant poster with a dick on it onto the stage and mark grabbed it and hung it on travis' drum set. and of course they played family reunion as well as fuck a dog.

oh and also before playing I miss you, tom went on this long rant about being sick and not being able to masturbate and that was the meaning of the song.

my parents were pretty cool about it all. my dad used to watch hoppus on music with me every week so he kinda was familiar with mark's personality by that point.

Hey so even WWE is getting in on the blink-182 news train. They referenced them tonight on Smackdown when a trio faction started fighting with each other.

  12. First time I saw blink was actually the dollar bill tour in 03. Lost my fucking shoe in the pit and head to get out before my toes got stomped.

One of the first shows I ever saw was Blink in 98' w/ Riverfenix and Unwritten Law on the Poo Poo Pee Pee Tour. Travis had just joined the band only a month previous. The set list that night was heavy on Dude Ranch and Cheshire Cat and I believe a few that would later be on Enema. Afterwards they hung out with all the fans and signed, took pics with everyone.

  16. The first time I saw them was with my dad during the Mark, Tom, and Travis Show tour with Fenix TX and Bad Religion. It was awesome obviously! My dad had fun too. He really likes the song "Voyeur" because he thinks it's hilarious, so he was happy that they played it, haha.

Too early to tell, but I'm predicting something like 75k-85k. If it's not a busy week, number one isn't out of question.
