I promise to give it a good listen this week. I was in the hospital when it came out and I think that played a huge part in me not giving it a proper chance

I mean, the first four songs are solid. After that it falls way off.

I donated my kidney on April 1st and that record came out march 31st and I remember downloading it that night and thinking I'll listen to it in the hospital while I was recovering, but it didn't really happen.

This was my memory of it, there was one song I didn't like. Help is good if you can get it or something

  7. The last four songs are incredible.

I've heard something to that effect used to describe it but I'm really not sure how strict he was with it when writing. It's not something that comes up a lot in discussion. I think that record is a little more understated but so good

I am a listyle tipsy, so I might have misread, but if anyone is slandering Kintsugi I got my fists ready to fight. That album is in the top half of an almost perfect discography.

Yea that record messes me up. I used to play of those songs at parties in college, and then they became way too real a few years later. 405 is a classic

It was more when things would wind down, I would grab my guitar just start playing company calls epilogue or 405 or title track.

Oh I thought you meant like the record as party music I was shocked. That's different for sure. It's never occurred to me to try to learn death cab songs I don't think and that's kinda weird for a band I love as much as them

We Have the Facts. Funny thing is, I hated pre-Transatlicism Death Cab for the first year and a half I liked the band, but then one day We Have The Facts clicked and it's been my favorite for like 3-4 years now.

Everything Death Cab is really good. One off a small list of bands I can throw on any album, not know any of the work, and just let it play throughout my day without disliking or skipping. I also play them in the shop I work at quite a bit.

Edit: Small note, The Postal Service was overrated. ;)

Hahah I love me some Death Cab but something about how much people raved about The Postal Service over Death Cab when I was in high school always irritated me. It's good but I don't think that one album touches any of Ben's best work with DCFC.

I was obsessed with Give Up for like, 2 years before I actually listened to Death Cab. Hahahaha and I only listened to Give Up because everyone was saying Owl City ripped them off. I was raised in a very legalistic, convervative Christian house so everything I listened to had to be religious in some way (which Owl City is).... then after listenening a postal service song, I secretly listened to Give Up non-stop for months. :crylaugh:
