So apparently The Disaster Artist is really really good. Def looks like it. Now i really want to see The Room before it comes out. A theater in my city has been screening The Room for almost 100 consecutive months. In December, it will be the 100th screening haha

Also Alexander Payne's newest Downsizing definitely looks interesting. Was skeptical about the story at first but after watching the trailer im sold. And mother! comes out so soon! I love fall movie season!

It's been in my Netflix queue forever, but I think the runtime has always kind of subconsciously forced me to pick something else. I'm off all week because of Irma, so I get to stretch my nights out a bit now. I'm pretty psyched to finally watch it.

 

Wait what? I can't fathom ending that show and thinking this....

 

I guess I wasn't satisfied by the ending. There were episodes that dragged. Pete was pretty much the only likable character.

I take it you liked the show? What did you like about it?

 

The ending may be the most intense and emotional reaction I've ever had to a tv show...

 

I guess I just found it depressing.

 

It's definitely depressing. A TV show invoking that emotion is pretty damn powerful imo.

 

OK now I need to watch Horace and Pete. Where can I stream it?

 

One of Jake's best performances. Downey is great in it too and Ruffalo well he's always good.

 

Right up there with Prisoners and Nightcrawler for sure.

Yeah those are too other great ones for sure as is Enemy. And apparently he is excellent in Stronger. But that's not surprising i should of said he's always good. I'm basicly interested in everything he does now.

 

I think I'm still processing it. The way hope is finally built up for Horace before Pete comes back was such a gut punch.

 

I had never heard of Horace & Pete and tbh I was confusing it with Wallace and Gromit when you guys first started talking about it

He does an a very interesting job of giving his latest characters their own unique physical "ticks", intriguing to watch on-screen.

Jake Gyllenhaal is one of my biggest non musical influences.

 

1. The production on this album is great, but I also can't help but wonder how it would sound if it were recorded in a big empty room like TDAG...think that sound would have fit well on a bunch of songs on here.

2. Anyone have any idea on the Same Logic lyrics yet since the live show? Can definitely tell he's saying "not a costume" in the middle of the chorus, but still not sure what comes before it.

 

Isn't it "I'm a monster in a costume"?

 

Hmm...I'd have to listen again but if he says "in a costume" that could be a possibility, at least for the first one...the 2nd one is a little different than the first
