I'm from Birmingham so if you're English you have to know it haha

 

He might be losing his mind. I liked what he was starting to say in criticism of Hollywood icons, but then he started to get just a little too weird for me.

 

Well, I'm from an area called the Black Country so not technically Birmingham. It's an area north of that city where we all talk quite quickly with our accent, people from Birmingham are known to talk really slowly (Ozzy Osbourne) but it's not a general rule.

The best ever sitcom for me is I'm Alan Partridge. Just two series of it like most of the UK ones. It's perfect.

 

Yes, it's really quite a miracle. His drug use was clearly harming his ability to play (see the final Phish shows in 2004, specifically this sad and infamous performance of "Glide") and was part of the reason the band broke up the 2.0 era. He was arrested a few years later and promptly started to turn his life around. Now he's healthier than ever and the band got back together in 2009. Which, I really consider a blessing because I didn't get to see them until 2011 and now I've seen them 53x. They're one of the most important things in my life between going to shows with my family, all the friends I've made through them, places I've traveled for them, etc.

Though some argue Trey's drug use resulted in some magnificent shows through the years—see ones in the 90's where he's on LSD and still shredding, or the 2.0 era known as the "Oxy Years" because of the dark and brooding tone of the ambient and space jams—it's clear that what happened with his arrest and getting clean was absolutely what needed to happen.

Want to see the craziest goddamn thing? These pictures are of Jerry Garcia and Trey Anastasio. Jerry died shortly after that photo and Trey is still going. So happy he is in a good place and he gets to provide joy to old and new fans, hopefully for many years to come.

It's a follow up to a show called "Knowing Me, Knowing You" which was a spoof chat show. That's not so good but just so you know this follows on as a sitcom of the presenters life directly after that show.

 

I bet if in 2017 Brand New did the thing where they announced "Daisy" after announcing ."..and one head can never die" there would be people thinking that meant there was a second album on the way

 

Matt, you're freaking me out

 

It's a mind blowing thought to me to think of getting anything else the same year we finally got LP5. An ep/companion piece like Radiohead did with In Rainbows isn't that much of a stretch when you think about it. I mean that Radiohead In Rainbows disk 2 came with the limited vinyl of In Rainbows which came at a later date just like the limited vinyl of Science Fiction will. Heck I'd take anything even instrumentals jams like the ones with some of the Deja demos but I'm so happy with SF that i'm totally ok either way. Interesting to think about it though.

And @fenway89 don't know if you ever answered this or not when @Bloodsucker II followed up, don't remember seeing anything. Did you give In Rainbows a listen yet? If so what did you think of it?

Yea it felt like it was getting redundant to keep saying "all love from me" but I thought the heart got the message across nicely
