To me, and this is just me, it suggests someone else would have won.

  2. I wouldn't push back on most of those things as reasons for her loss. I would push back on the idea that 1. is a uniquely evil use of propaganda and that 5. isn't demonstrably her own fault to some extent at least, but that's it. Most people have been criticizing some of those Bernie quotes and also the fact that the book seems to have at least 2 stories about someone showing her a meme, in which she describes and explains the meme in text, which is just awful writing.

  3. Bernie's policies reminded me of a meme Robbie Mook showed me after Bernie said socialism a lot. It was about how each political system treats a person with 2 cows,

Explaining memes in text is going to be a chunk of every history book, and we've all contributed to that failure of humanity.

She really is just about as narcissistic as Trump. Imagine writing a whole book about what caused you to lose an election because you thought you were that entitled to a victory.

Most people who run for city council are regular people, you don't have to be a phd and there are places to look up info. it does costs money though, I believe but I'm sure people would donate and back you.

Sometimes, I think Obama's eloquence when it comes to these things is why Trump sounds like a dingbat when he tweets about them. Then I'm like nah, Trump is just a fucking dumbass.

I used to work at the pizza hut in a target, and the amount of food I had to throw away was honestly disgusting. There were people who got fired for taking food that had to be thrown away, and we couldn't even just put it in the breakroom or something instead of throwing it away. Never sat right with me. There has to be some way to distribute that wasted food. I really doubt someone who is starving will be too concerned that the pizza was sitting out for 20 minutes.

I know some cities/towns have local organizations that will come by and collect food at the end of shifts to bring to community centers and shelters. Definitely need a lot more of these types of organizations though. Also doubt Pizza hut would allow their food to be picked up for some stupid legal reason.

Yep, that's pretty much it. Idk who would make the final call on that one actually (Pizza Hut or Target), but I doubt either of them would allow it because they'd consider it a liability if someone got sick from the food or something. Seems like a simple waiver would be a pretty easy way around this though. I truly felt guilt about it all the time.

Working in restaurants it gets discouraging too. In culinary school there was a lot of waste but we were allowed to pack up whatever we wanted at end of night. So we either had leftovers for the week or sometimes i'd bring some cartons of food down to the homeless along my bus route.

I used to work at mcdonalds, some of the reasons for waste were just unnecessary. When i started if you were closing you could eat anything leftover but they changed that while I was there, just needless waste.

I used to work at KFC and we could eat whatever and I would take food home whenever I wanted. usually cooked extra wings at the end of the night to take home. we also would put leftover biscuits, strips, popcorn and wedges in bags at the end of the night and put it in the freezer, once a week someone from a shelter or mission would pick them up so that was at least something. really don't remember throwing too much food away unless it really was inedible like the beans were too old or the biscuits were rock hard.
