Take Shelter is one of the rare movies that has an incredible trailer that really makes you want to see it and the actual movie itself is just as incredible. Sometimes that's definitely not the case but that one hits all the right notes for me. What a movie.

I'm on season 6 and she's for sure the worst part of the show. Actually her and Carl have both become pretty insufferable and not really realistic at all. Not that the show was ever that realistic but they just went really over the top with those 2. Also annoyed because I can already see the "twist" where Fiona ends up keeping her baby and Debbie loses/gets rid of her

    I know what I said.

I loved Breaking Bad, but it was harder for me to get into. Took until about Season 3 before I cared. Better Call Saul is effortless and has a charm to it that clicks with me.

The characters are way more likable for me too. I'm not sure who I was rooting for in Breaking Bad. By the time I was invested in the show, Walt was already becoming a grade A prick, Skylar was too annoying (even though she is the most unfairly maligned tv character in television history), it was hard to root for Hank since he was inherently against Walt. Jesse was the only main character that I could really sympathize with. Pretty much everyone on Better Call Saul, I can see their side of things. I've switched from Jimmy's side to Chuck's back to Jimmy's in single episodes.

I've been meaning to watch Take Shelter for years. Been on my DVR forever. Mostly interested in it because it was all filmed within 45-1 hour of my home.

Gosling is from my hometown so I will always support him. I wish he would revisit Dead Man's Bones. That one album was pretty sweet. Guess it was maybe just a one off thing.

Gosling has been my favorite actor since United States of Leland (long before he came a household name) and yes, Dead Man's Bones is so good. Really wish he'd do another album.

In that trade places scenario, I always say Ryan Gosling or Tom Hardy.

It's cool, I expected some heat haha. Honestly that's the first time I've articulated why I like Better Call Saul more, so I was explaining to myself as well.

TV shows well there's Six Feet Under forever at the top and then the rest. I think that will always be my favorite show. It has to be it's just too good. Nothing has ever been able to top it. Rectify was quite good too and close but not quite on the same level. I really want to get around to Transparent. The show runner was one of the writers on SFU so that's promising.

The show I have started only watched the first ep so far is The Sinner with Jessica Biel and Bill Pullman. I liked the pilot so will def be watching more.

That last 5 minutes of Six Feet Under might be the most emotional five minutes in TV history. One of my all-time favorite shows

nice I listed that one in my list. One of my faves as well. What an ensemble cast for an indie movie that was. And that director did Leland and was never seen again. I remember reading an article on him. He basically just went away after that one movie. Wish he had done more. That movie is so good. But it's either a you love it or hate it type of movie.
