it wasn't a smart song to play in the first place but you gotta commit if you do it

    I do not exist.

I like to think it would have got pretty raucous as that point.

Just said he found it dull like he has their last few albums or something.

I mean, I like his non rock reviews but I REALLY wish he gave up trying with rock music, he's clearly out of touch with it. He gave Hotelier's first album a mid score, the last Pianos a mid score, Foxing a three and the new Brand New a 7. He just doesn't have a clue anymore.

You hope some kids ask about the band and become fans.. that would be ideal, and a good use of these "emo nights" to gradually work in "newer" (manchorch isn't new but they weren't bit in 2003 like most stuff played) bands

It's weird, I assumed emo night would have a lot of underground stuff.

I go to a double story pop-punk and metal nightclub in the midlands here in the UK and the DJ in the main room regularly drops Modern Baseball, Moose Blood, Neck Deep, Marmozets, The Wonder Years, The Story So Far, and more, into the mix alongside the usual playlist of MCR, NFG, Paramore, etc. Regardless of what you think of those bands, it's damn cool to see people get to know those songs over time and engage more with them. Seeing them drop Your Graduation at 3am when it's heaving and finding another big group of other people to absolutely lose our shit with collectively is one my favourite memories there.

Wow. So apparently there is a different poster for each show and the Tampa one is sooooo much better than the Orlando one. It's on the subreddit

thats one of the things I hate about emonite. they're so bad at just cutting songs off or just randomly jumping into songs. the DJing is terrible

that said, I still love it. LA needs more nights like it

That's me, directly in front of Andy.

Tallest one there. I could feel the glares from behind me the whole show, people hating the 6' 4" guy on the direct center of the barricade.

If it helps, I really don't go to very many shows, so when I do, I want to be as close as possible if I can't get a good angle or spot at the back or just behind the pit.

Two or three shows a year. Maybe. On a good year.

I'm just messing with you. I'm 6-1 so I definitely hear groans from behind me...I also somehow always get stuck behind someone who is a lot taller than me any show I go to...which is why I stopped trying to get close a long time ago. I like hanging out near the back to just keep out of the way and be able to move around and stuff and not feel stuck.

Although for the Brand New/Modest Mouse tour last summer, I got stuck near the front and had no complaints. It was probably the first concert I had been to in like 10 years where I didn't go get any drinks or or use the bathroom between sets because I didn't want to lose my spot.
