Stacked line up as far as I'm concerned. Super bummed there isn't an MN Date. (Although I've already seen most of these bands this year)

I went to this tonight and there was maybe 150 people there. Staff said the only reason it wasn’t moved to the smaller room was because of the video screen. Missed all of Sleep On It and most of Chapel. As It Is cut about half their set due to technical issues. Waterparks played for a little over an hour. I don’t remember the full set but here’s a partial:

    Crave
    Stupid For You
    Pink
    Blonde
    Royal
    Easter Egg
    Mad All The Time
    21 Questions
    Dizzy
    I’m A Natural Blue

If you can get cheap tickets, it’s a good show.

NO WAY, they actually played Easter Egg? I'm so pumped on this tour, can't wait till December 1st.

EDIT: According to setlist.fm this is their set

    Plum Island
    Crave
    Stupid For You
    Pink
    Blonde
    It Follows
    Mad All The Time
    Gloom Boys
    Dizzy
    Royal
    (ENCORE)
    Powerless
    21 Questions
    Easter Egg
    I'm A Natural Blue

Weird for them to do a 4 song encore with only a 10 song set if this is true. Pumped they're playing Easter Egg, still bummed about no Little Violence on another tour.

On the video screen for Easter Egg, it says this will never happen again with a countdown clock for the length of the song. The 4 song encore is correct. Powerless was just Awsten acoustic and 21 questions was mostly acoustic, Geoff and Otto came out towards the end to finish it.

Damn, I wonder if that means they're cutting it for the rest of the tour. That's a bummer if so.

I took it to mean it’ll never happen again outside this tour. The graphics for the video screen were pretty entertaining.

Oddly big venues, also surprised Waterparks is bigger than As It Is

the dallas show had less than 350 people there. only reason it didn't get moved to the small room is because of the production

I’m definitely curious to see how this turns out in Portland now. It’s next Monday and I was worrying about not having a ticket yet but I guess I shouldn’t be now haha.

Also surprised Sleep On It are billed below Chapel. They were also the lowest billed on As It Is' headliner as were Chapel on Waterparks', yet since Sleep On It have released their full album while Chapel have yet to release their first EP

Regardless I'll try and take the road trip down to Kansas from Minnesota to see this show

Because Tyler Carter calls in a lot of favors.

Closer to the show, the Dallas show ran tickets with no fees. Not sure if they’re doing this in other cities, but worth checking on if you’re planning on going.

You think the underwhelming ticket sales are going to affect the relationships between whoever books Waterparks and these venues? I know venues at these capacities have a decently high cost to run them for a show and obviously every band on tour is going to need a guarantee. I can't imagine this tour is doing well financially for anyone.

I think it was booked it such big rooms cause of the tour sponsor. I can’t imagine they’re happy with the turnout.

Don’t think it’ll effect them on this but it will show to future promoters who want to book them what they pull and effect what their guarantee will be on the nex tour.

Monster has no say in the booking. I would also agree that they’re probably not happy

Idk what they expected, most pop-punk bands this size can barely sell 150 tickets in my town.

Granted these venues still seem way too big for them, but that was probably because of the production. These are the type of venues All Time Low would be playing. Pretty big jump from the 500 cap rooms they were playing on the TCTT coheadliner.

Well I won Blazers tickets at work for Monday night so I won’t be going to this anymore, so I’m really hoping Sleep On It comes back to Portland soon.

Dallas started at 6:30 and was over before 10, but As It Is cut a few songs from their set.
