3/5 of the lineup from that album is still in the band though. They had just as much of a part of that album as Mitch did. I get that he was and still is a monumental figure in the deathcore scene but it's not fair to say that SS can't do these great monumental things in their career that many of their peers are doing because he isn't there due to unfortunate circumstances. And Eddie is a hell of a vocalist (put all the teehee memes to the side for a moment, he still kills it at all their old material).

And they also honored Mitch in saying he would've wanted this and he never thought he would change deathcore like this

I don't think anyone's saying they shouldn't be doing this. It just helps explain why these venues are a little smaller than some people expected.

Douglas Robinson left Night Verses. Could this mean The Sleeping might be back?

I know I'm always in the minority on this site but I'm a huge Dave Matthews Band fan, so this really got me excited:

I'm hoping i'm one of the out-of-staters that'll be able to get tickets. I also am a big of Justin Timberlake. Stapleton and Pharrell rule also and not to mention The Roots, Cage The Elephant and Amanda from The Alabama Shakes. Sure to be a hell of a day.

You're probably right, I just read the comment wrong. I'm just very used to seeing shit along the lines of "no Mitch, no Suicide Silence" constantly. You Can't Stop Me proved that they can still crush it, it's very aggravating seeing people write off the band for having one bad album and continuing on with Eddie (who is a good vocalist in his own right).

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

have a gut feeling it'll hit Toronto/Montreal even with STYG's release shows and Counterparts' Canadian shows; really wanna see this lineup together

I understand that's extremely annoying when you're just trying to enjoy the music. I can't say I know very much about them with or without Mitch but I'm glad you're still enjoying them!

Next Show - Foals April 22nd

Architects loves Montreal, their last show was a super special one. I'd like to think they will do what they can to be back.

oh my god, I'm back on my bullshit Prestigious

I don't care about Suicide Silence at all, but I do find it kinda funny that Eddie went on that rant about deathcore before, but is now going to tour a deathcore album in full because no one likes their new album.

Kinda tempted to see the SS tour. Depends on my funds at the moment. I haven't really cared about them seeing for awhile since they ignore their best tracks from the first 2 albums. Winds of Plague being on my date would have made it an easy yes.

I wish Winds of Plague were on the Atlanta date on the Suicide Silence tour, but I can understand them not wanting to tour full time anymore.

That being said, I was thinking about The Acacia Strain's TBA headliner and I think both Oceano and Stray From The Path would be good fits for the tour. I mentioned SFTP before but they have yet to announce a U.S. tour for Only Death Is Real.

Also, since we have Architects/Stick To Your Guns/Counterparts and considering this band was previously rumored to support those supporting bands, what tour could Knocked Loose be on early next year?

I'd believe the pop punk breakup rumor before believing that tour exists.

Bryan from Knocked Loose was on Jamey Jasta's podcast and he said that they have a headliner. Jamey said one of the bands was a more legacy type hardcore band. He straight up said the name but they bleeped it out. From the sounds of it though Bryan takes big influence from the band.
