Taylor Swift – “…Ready For It?”

Pretty good, think I like it more than LWYMMD

 

It's definitely an improvement. I'm still not super excited for the album, but we'll see what happens between now and November.

 

While the first single has definitely grown on me, I instantly liked this one.

She's 0-2 right now for me, but I could see this one growing on me. LWYMMD still hasn't clicked with me. Kinda has a Ellie Goulding vibe to it.

 

Don't like that shes going into the club Rihanna scene (I dont know how to describe what I mean) but I don't hate this song and I will probably eventually love this song.

 

The chorus is solid, don't like the verses. Still intensely dislike LWYMMD

 

I think I like this one more than LWYMMD. 100% less voicemail cringe.

I love when she does the minor key verses and major key chorus similar to "I Know Places". The contrast works really well.

 

I heard a mix of Medusa by Dirty Heads and Shot Caller by French Montana in this. Wasn't bad at all.

Shame, really not hitting the mark for me with these releases so far.

Most say "much better" than the last song but really how high was that bar set?

Also, what is hApPEniNG in the Taylor Swift camp?! This is garbage compared to what she has done and is capable of doing. Don't tell me she's switching it up or progressing either. This is not progression this sounds like a track me and my friends made having fun with pro tools.

 

Really? People said the same think about Shake It Off, Bad Blood, etc. those songs were her progressing more towards pop. Now she's embracing it even more. And if you and you're friends can make tracks like this you'll be rich someday...
