I have an iphone and ipod but I hate Macbooks bc I don't want to learn how to use one. I have this banging ass touch screen HP and everytime I'm on another computer I forget and touch the screen trying to scroll.

I have a Droid and a PC, but it's kinda impossible to avoid all ethically complicated companies, like what am I supposed to do not use Google even though their campus sounds like a nightmare

  4. Google is definitely the worse of the two as well by a pretty large margin imo. But that's a large conversation. Hah

  5. I wonder what product I own from the **worst** company. Ethnically and unapologetic and doesn't even try to do any good. (Apple does try to do a lot of good things.)

  8. True. My car is just at my moms and I hardly drive these days. So I'm wondering if I may have something else. I guess the energy-utility would still be the "worst" though. Or maybe my pair of Lululmon shorts.

I've been trying to cut down on the amount of beef I eat because of how bad it is for your carbon footprint. I've been at college for 2 weeks and I probably only ate it twice so far.

And I definitely won't be driving much anymore since I don't have my car at college. Now if only I could get my school to start investing in renewable energy.

Food is probably the worst thing I give money to but I've been making my own food most of the time lately. Apple does try to do some good and at least manage to do better than most of the other corps that I've given money to before. I feel like Tim Cook is trying to make Apple better than how it was under Steve.

I gave money to Gary Johnson before and that's pretty bad. My university probably racks up close.

I think the worst thing I give money to each month is my ISP - my "choice" is Time Warner / Spectrum.

All in all they haven't been the worst as far as quality goes but that entire industry is so messed up.

I pretty much use all Apple products now. They aren't perfect as a company but I get the feeling they do genuinely care about their users. I use bing for search - not out of some anti-google stance, I just like the search rewards ($5 amazon card every couple months).

I use no animal tested makeup and organic brushes if that counts. I do have a few things I couldn't part with bc they were expensive and like Kat Von D is a nazi, there is one racist one, all of the beauty shit is bad. Jeffree Star has said the n word and shit.

Mine has to be Comcast. Or Nestle. I try to eat mostly vegan from local farmers markets, but I do buy coffee creamer and I don't really eat out.

Can Apple, Samsung, Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony and other companies decide how much Foxconn pays their employees? I know they could just discontinue operations there, but I think Foxconn has the finally say in wages.

If you have to increase the mass of human misery in order to maximize your profits, which is literally the modus operandi of every single company, there needs to be a different economic order.

  24. How is human misery being measured? Is there a trade off of good/happiness/qol to misery ratio?
