    Things have changed.

Too polished? Have you heard Enema and TOYPAJ?

I wasn't actually worried about them sounding too much alike until I heard the song, but I feel like they may have picked a song where the transition between the two wasn't so jarring and obvious on purpose.

Blink-182 needs to be polished. They are a huge arena pop punk band. The guitar tones on neighborhoods and the dog eating dogs EP is unacceptable. lol.

What if we were supposed to get the full album Friday but with the major fuck up it got ruined for us and they set the date for July 1

  5. I would hate the internet even more if that was the case, but I'm sure it's not, haha.

I'm back. KROQ is streaming. I'm ready.

They "premiered" it 10 mins too early last night so I'm making sure I don't miss this.

Why would that EVER happen? They're releasing the album in July because that's when the tour starts.

It's probably just in that spot cause it's selling a decent amount right now.

Yes, sure thing, why are you asking?

    Give what you can.

Morning everyone. Is there anything left to announce on this morning radio thing?

Since Dude Ranch, their albums have always been polished.

S/T has a best possible production. It's not that polished and safe and uninteresting. Same with BCR. Same with WDNTW.

I would say self titled is polished as fuck man.

Well then, Travis's idea of "colorful" is rather interesting.

Yes, I know. But it sounds pretty different from Fieldman's work, doesn't it? Anyway that's just my humble opinion.

  17. It is extremely polished.

    Motel. Money. Murder. Madness.

More of what I wanted than I didn't want, so that's good.

The vocals are the worst, just given how processed they are. My girlfriend said 'I wonder if Matt sings on the record?'. I don't understand why, after this band just went through their biggest shake up ever and replaced a vocalist, you go ahead and put an effect on a song (the lead single) that makes the voices sound the same.

I like it, more than most of Neighborhoods, but my wish for Untitled pt.2 may be dashed again.

I honestly don't know what else they would announce other than physical bundles.

Surprised Matt didn't write a new song called "San Francisco" for this record

Probably a more in depth interview and the bundle announcement stuff

  22. I'm getting the feeling this will be more like TOYPAJ pt. 2. I'd loooove an Untitled pt. 2 too though!

Everyone's wish is for Untitled pt. 2

Sadly that passed back in 2005. That would have only been the possible timeframe. They've moved on and, for a lack of a better word, "evolved". It's 13 years since Untitled. Not only are they older, their musical tastes/inspirations have changed.

I personally think this is a step forward in their careers and it seems very natural. They are pushing certain boundaries. Hoping we get a certain harder push on the "genre" so to speak, but stylistically we won't see Untitled-esque production ever again. We'll hopefully get similar themes and I truly hope it's similar to Untitled in terms of the way they pushed themselves and pushed their sound.

Well, OK, we can say it's SUPER DUPER POLISHED, but just check this soft warm awesome production here:

aaaaaand then check the new single.

    Jerry was unbelievable mastermind.

If you see (hear) no difference, it's a pity.

Anyway, I won't be a bitter guy, I like the song, just a bit of complaining :)
