I didn't say it wasn't bullshit, but that's how it is. The majority of people outside are not like everyone in this forum. Image means a lot. With the media showing videos more than the messages being spoken, image can mean even more. You get the average person by presenting yourself like them.

Movements die when they stall in this day in age. Having the same people rehash the change they want instead of getting more on your side is a quick way for Antifa to stall.

It has, but it has never needed a face (or faces) like it does now. The media is covering it and throwing mud at it constantly and everyone with a TV, twitter, or Facebook will see the negatives that the media tries to push. People are asking themselves why they want to join Antifa, what is Antifa, what will I be like if I join Antifa, etc.

Antifa has to ask if they want to help those questions be answered in their favor, and their image plays a gigantic role in that.

 

You really don't think it needed a face during the era of nazi Germany and fascist Italy? I don't actually think it needs a face tbh. That kind of goes against the point of anti fascism. They oppose centralized leadership and power. They just need better organization and communication
