I don't think the OL prospects available will be of better value to our team than one of the top defensive players that will be available at that spot, nor best skill position player in draft. That's all I keep saying. Yeah drafting O line a bunch sometimes works, but not when you have a weak running game and the worst defense in NFL history

 

Well, lets clarify that a bit. Pittsburgh was consistently a playoff team in that time, so, taking O-line at the back end of rounds makes more sense. And they spread those picks around. Taking 3 tackles at picks 9, 10, and 19 in 4 years is not great.

the defense is the part that sells me. If Stanley is there and the first 9 picks have been 2 QBs, Elliot, tunsil, and D guys, then yeah...i can see going that way as BPA. But taking Conklin over a half dozen defensive guys would be really awful. And taking any OT over Elliot would be repeating Flowers/Gurley

 

If the giants took gurley last year they'd be playing Marshall new house and the ghost of a random retired player no one is interested in.

My sources, while usually reliable, have been a mixed bag this offseason. But according to NFL insider Uncle Chaps @UncleChaps on Twitter, the Jaguars will definitely be taking a player tomorrow night. He also said that player would be wearing a flat bill for the team that drafts that player. Looks to be a night of surprises.

 

Oh man, I'm gonna miss Randall tomorrow night.

I'm sure Randall would vehemently disagree with you and say they're a borderline playoff team now. He said they'd be greatly improved before the AP blimp flew the coop.

 

I have no faith in my team until they can win all of their division games and win more than 9 games. We'll see how the defense does.
