It's already a perfect album

 

Well, to me, only 1 album ever released has been perfect so we must just use the word perfect in different senses.

But I agree with that comment mainly because that while No Control is a good song, it sticks out like a sore thumb as being the worst song by far.

 

"In the valley of your slowly fading memory" is one of their most haunting moments. Can't get enough of this song.

 

Out of Mana is my clear least favorite. No Control works for me, it's probably only above Mana, but I like Control a good bit more.

 

Which album do you consider perfect is it the Fray album please tell me it is

I think it's cool that they recorded with a Moog and a handpan, but Lit Me Up might be one of my least favorite songs by Brand New. They've had more interesting songs

 

Lift Me Up is not a favourite of mine.

 

Lit Me Up pretty much stops me dead in my tracks every time. I love it.

 

The "I wanna be a heretic" line pulls me out of the song a bit, but thats my only gripe with it

lit me up is great but i like it better once the drums kick in, i'm not a huge fan of the vocals in the first half. they're a little nu metally tbh

The delivery in the first few lines sort of reminds me of sowing season, real low in the register and then sort of raspiness there is similar. Lit me up is an incredible track/opener.. had chills the entire time when I first heard it and they often come back on repeat listens
