yeah I see a lot of folks saying that, i'm not being rude or stubborn or whatever. I just don't hear a difference. like I can totally tell mark doesn't sing everything between chorus 1 and 2. but beyond that, everything is mark to my ears.

After another listen, I agree....It's Matt on the first chorus with a little harmonizing by Mark, and then the other way around on the 2nd chorus.

 

This is the Blink I've been missing. I've always liked Mark's melodies. Really enjoyed that. Hits my pop nerve that needs occasional feeding.

 

The quality is shit but it is a very catchy song. I'm digging it.

Yep..1st Verse + PreChorus Mark, 2nd Verse + 2nd PreChorus Matt, 2nd Chorus + Bridge + Final Chorus Mark.

 

Im not that great at guitar, its the same 4 chords/progression as Dammit and the million other hits right? When in doubt and you need a single go with the old I–V–vi–IV, i do like the song though.

 

okay I deff heard that now. thanks for pointing it out. maybe they are just both singing the choruses. gonna be so weird listening to a blink album where the voices mesh almost too well haha

I think they're definitely both singing on both choruses, they just have one's mic turned up more than the other in the mix. Because I can definitely hear a little Matt in the background of the 2nd chorus. I've been listening to the Trio for years and I know that harmonizing anywhere haha

It's interesting to see these two harmonize with each other after doing it with two vocalists that sound completely different from themselves for so long.

Loved the song, the bridge is great! not gonna lie that the trading voices between the mark and tom will gonna be missed but am anxious about this record!

 

Yeah the first chorus "breath" is a millisecond longer and more dragged out. Since the end of the verse overlaps with the first word of the chorus it makes sense that they trade choruses so they can sing it like that live.

It's not up yet. It's not a constant stream, just something that will go live via Facebook Live (their version of Periscope) when the time comes. I assume they will post a link.
