Ok, shameless plug. One of my buds plays guitar in this band and he might be the best guitarist I've ever seen live. They have a female vocalist and she is seriously incredible. However, I don't think their recordings do them justice. If you get a chance to see them live, go. They're like David Bowie meets Jimmy Hendricks meet Walt Disney

    Camden* My bad.

I mean I could be wrong but I never heard anything else other than Camden when listening to the song.

Damn all this talk about wonderful female artists makes me want to post my favorites but I don't want to make the distinction because a bunch of these are my favorite artists period

I've very thankful to Brand New for the new album, but more importantly I am thankful because without it we would not have this thread.

this male-female argument is stupid as hell

also it's definitely Camden, reference to a poor town in New Jersey known for its dangerous crime and run-down conditions, also mentioned in Thursday's "Turnpike Divides" ("the Camden city graves")

Like I said I live really close to camden ha, so I thought it was a strange reference but its all good. Also I don't think its stupid to talk about diversity in music listening

Yeah most of my favorite country musicians are female. Especially in the modern era

I just think it shouldn't matter that much, I didn't think it was strange at all for Taylor Swift to be his #1 female artist but not in his top 15 of all time, and then he started getting harped on for that which I thought was rather odd
