If you like 10-20 male artists more than any female artist, then I'm side eyeing that because it more than likely means you haven't sought out enough female artists. That's what I already said.

I edited my previous post. You can't assume that I haven't heard many female artists just because my top 10 is mainly males.

I could have listened to 1000x female artist and my top 10 could still be all males or almost all males.

 

It's weird to say tswift is one of your all time favorite female artists but then doesn't crack your top 15 artists.

I think it goes this way is because Hard Rock, Pop Punk, and Rap are my absolute three favorite genres and within those two genres I haven't really found many female vocalists who I like.

However, I when it comes to Pop and Country some of the best music ever made in those genres is from females to me.

Maybe but I know other people IRL who are the same, mainly because of what I just posted. My friend who I like 90% of music he does agrees with me that there aren't many female rock vocalists we enjoy.

 

My all-time favorite female artist is a tie between Lucinda Williams and Patti Smith

Well, I currently only have a top 10. Maybe I will need to sit down and think about my top 20 and see how it comes out.

But if we expand to "female musicians" including members of bands that are mostly dudes, then Kim Gordon is probably my favorite. Or really a three-way tie.
