I signed up for the Seattle ticket access because there's no Portland, but I'm a little frustrated about no tour dates listed as there's a chance the Tampa date would work out better for me.

This simultaneously sounds dated and forward thinking. I also love and hate this song at the same time?

Also @Jason Tate I'm now remembering Kesha also did the "stand in a virtual line and increase your position" thing with her new tour

sometimes this song reminds me of post breakdown Britney Spears. So that's no good.

I think the album + ticket sale scheme is brilliant. It especially works for stadium/arena level acts. Metallica's newest album did pretty well, going gold in like 4 months, but then they did the album bundle with ticket sales for their stadium tour and within like another two months they doubled their sales.

Was gonna make a post that was basically this. 1989 made me a Taylor fan after a decade of not liking her. I won't write her off for a lead single easily as dorky as SIO.

still here for the record. this is a catchy song, albeit not a very good one.

My official stance is every moment wasted on this song are moments I've wasted not listening to "Bad Liar"

Edit: I meant to quote the guy that said it sounded like the louvre

Wow I made this exact same comment in the news story comments without having read this. I guess it really is there if other people are naturally recognizing it. It's when she sings "isn't cool" is the exact same melody as "still the louvre."

I'm not sure of the source, there's a few new pics floating around Tumblr. There's going to be a big magazine/photo book target exclusive, it might be from there.

Missed opportunity: Taylor should have released a newspaper-style version to fit with the font of the album.
