Back to this album. I had only my 4th listen on a run this morning and I like it more with every one so far.

I think it’s sequenced perfectly and there are so many little touches that just elevate it a step above what it otherwise could be.

Also, why don’t more Brand New songs have horns?

 

It's gonna be a hard few months, but it's ll for the best.

 

I'm sorry but nobody is allowed to say anything remotely negative about The National. In any corner of the internet. And the world for that matter.

Just saw this, but I assume this article didn't take into account the surprise drop by Brand New. How do you guys think Brand New will fair to these other releases and Kendrick this week?

I was just thinking about the sequencing today, and I agree completely, it flows very well and has perfect balance in terms of mood.

It would be cool if they bring people on tour to play the horn parts and the organ that's on this album.

I haven't had more than a few full listens since it's hard to get a solid hour to listen to it but I keep getting songs stuck in my head and just jump in there, which has worked out better than I expected. It's an album that deserves to be played all the way through but each song is so good I don't have an issue just putting one on when I get the chance.

 

Yeah, what are they even trying to do there? It sounds so goofy, corny, and out of place. I really dont get it.

And OOM sounds so much like a Nine Inch Nails song in the verse, in like every aspect.

I ordered the limited vinyl (12:01 pm) and did not receive the CD. I think it was random.
