Why do I keep expecting Jesse to start singing about what happened in 1996 every time I hear the intro to In The Water haha

 

Hold on, how do you even know you're getting a package? Vinyl doesn't ship til October, so unless you ordered a shirt, I don't understand how you could know you were getting a cd?

 

Anyone put this on iTunes and their phone yet? The first song is showing up on the phone as "Unknown Album", within iTunes it's showing as Science Fiction. How can I fix it on my phone?

On the first few listens Desert is really standing out to me.

 

Opening lyrics are so good.

The song grows on me with every listen.

 

If you use Apple Music/iCloud Music Library then it probably hasn't finished uploading to the cloud (since there currently isn't an album on AM for it to match to). Try right clicking whichever tracks are broken and choose "upload to iCloud library" (or something close to that). If you don't, then I have no idea, ha.

Took a few try's but I finally got mine in eh cloud last night

 

I'm enjoying each track but right now Lit Me Up and Same Logic are my clear favorites.

 

EhCloud: a moderately decent cloud service

 

I love the short song at the end of 'Out of Mana', so simple and beautiful.

I created a MyUSPS account to see if I could scope out the CD being sent to my house, but it says 'You currently have no scheduled deliveries'. Heartbroken.

 

I don't know I'm getting a CD. It's what I think it is. myUSPS shows every package that is being shipped to your address.

Finally got the chance to listen to the full stream, holy crap this is so good. Just can't believe I'm finally hearing new music from Brand New. Purchased the vinyl, time to listen to it again with the individual tracks and names.

 

Even though I don't expect it, it would be really cool if they released some of the unreleased music they'd been working on prior to SF somewhere down the road.

But this should hold me over for another 8 years or so

 

Yeah. That is ridiculous. They say on their website that price is taking into account the demand for hem etc. but that is nonsense. Also, the fact they make money off get me in, essentially selling tickets twice really fucks me off. Haha. Ok. Thanks for that. Appreciate it. Fingers crossed I get 2 tickets. Haha. They're wearing their influences on their sleeves with this one.
Weezer in that bass tone.
Modest Mouse in the guitars and yelling.
Some parts reminded me of Pearl Jam and NIN.
Could Never Be Heaven reminded me of John Lennon or Simon and Garfunkle.
I also hear The Mamas and The Papas throughout the album.

I'm loving these new songs

 

It cost me over $100 for a pair of tickets to the show in Atlanta. The $20 in service fees are killer.
