Got London tickets! Now to decide which out of London / Glasgow to do...or both?!

 

Got my tickets for Dublin

 

Both! I'm doing both and getting the train up from London to Glasgow on Sunday morning.

 

Woo! I wanted to go but I've already spent £500 on tickets and logistics for the other two UK shows so my sensible adult side finally stopped me :(

 

How tf do I have a new favorite Brand New album? It's 2017.

 

Is there a specific place anywhere to discuss the lyrics & their meaning? Or just this thread?

Was tempted to go to the UK for a show. I would have if I didn't get tickets for Dublin.

This is incredibly weird that in one fell swoop that my upcoming album's sticky note went from UPCOMING: Brand New(?) to straight into the 2017 released section

I am in no way complaining but I'm feeling a bit odd that I no longer have BN in my perpetual upcoming albums

 

My sleep schedule is weird. It's almost 2 and I'm wide awake. Haha. We played some card games and watched Netflix.

What a powerful record. "Batter Up" is a highlight of their career for me. Can't wait to give this a second listen

 

Lol in another thread I said that this song reminded me of when I used to play Runescape.


Also, it's such a small part, but "when I grow up, I wanna be a heretic." fucking killlllls me. It just sounds so good.

 

The background noise with the spoken intro reminds me of For Your Own Special Sweetheart by Jawbox a bit, but then obviously taken in very different directions. Also one of my favourite albums. And considering a lot of the stuff on Daisy I feel BN are probably fans too.

 

Excited to spend more time with this today.
