I'm a good 2 hours away from enjoying this at home for the first time. Can anyone confirm if Vinnie has more than one song where he takes lead vocals? Sounds like there's one song where he pops in, curious if there are others. Lots of comments noting the vibe is more mellow overall, which makes sense given how heavy Daisy comes across. Either way, if this is the end, it's been a wild ride.

You know, as much as I'm loving this album and this discussion, a part of me is going to miss the seemingly endless speculation and the wishful jokes.

That's a lie.

I'm not going to miss it at all.

 

I Am A Nightmare got an alternative radio push when it came out actually, so its not outside of the realm of possibilities.

 

This is the Half Life 3 of albums for us. It's kind of hard to imagine what a post LP5 world is going to be like...

About to be on my 3rd listen. This album is incredible man. I would be shocked if this album was not my AOTY at the end of the year.

It's funny Neck Deep held that title for me for literally only 3 days haha.

But to be fair I didn't think Kendrick Lamar's "Damn" would be topped this year and I was wrong so maybe something will happen to top Brand New.

I know it has been already stated somewhere, but for those that keep asking: YES, you do get a digital download with the CD purchase on the website (I did this).

As a semi-casual Brand New fan (only been listening for a few years), standout tracks after my first listen-through are Same Logic/Teeth, 137, and In the Water.

The production on this record is superb.

 

I'm curious what the difference is going to be. I'm still salty because I was in the middle of checking out when the site went down, but I'm happy they put up a standard one which I grabbed today. But still, it would be cool if the limited edition has some sort of different packaging and not just a different color variant.

Could Never Be Heaven is amazing. its the kind of acoustic track i didnt see coming from Brand New but its amazing

It won’t taint the album. Same as Me vs Maradona didn’t taint Deja. I get the context but it’s hard to listen to.

Could Never Be Heaven reminds me of Simon & Garfunkel in really weird / awesome way
