Actually I know what I'm going to do before my GF comes over. Listen to TDAG again. I haven't had a chance since Tuesday (although I've been through Deja and Daisy), and I kind of want to hear my favorite album of all time once more before playing the new record I never thought I'd get.

Also this isn't super related, but is anyone else going to the Upper Darby show? I haven't been there since I saw Yusuf Islam/Cat Stevens and I am super emotional to think of hearing these songs from that pit.

 

I want to buy the cd and listen now but I also kind of want to wait for streaming.

 

I hope I get tickets to them tomorrow

This album is produced so beautifully. On "In The Water" now and I'm blown away so far.

 

damnit all the feedback into the black guitar string chugging in "Cant Get It Out" tricks you in the coolest way, like you think some loud guitar is coming but then it goes into that smooth bassline verse

 

Yup, most every song is at least five minutes long

It's got a similar atmosphere to Daisy. Dark, slightly southern sound. Less heavy overall. Has lots of sound clips from other stuff.
