Linkin Park Band

So here I am, never liking Linkin Park before.... They just didn't 'do it' for me.

But lately - all of the radio hits come on, and I say 'I like that song - I wonder who it is...' and it's usually Linkin Park.

I hear a song (Embrace Myself.....) and I think - I like that one, is that LP? Guess so....

How'd I miss them before, they just seem kind of ok now :)

 

I saw today on twitter that LP working on collab with Martin Garrix.

 

We need a thread for them now. RIP Chester.

The first CD I bought with my own money was Hybrid Theory, but I haven't listened to these guys in years. I should listen to that one tonight.

Alright everyone, TBS is on its playoffs so this one will be beginning in a couple days.

A couple questions first:

1. Do we start with OML and work back wards like I've done with Blink and TBS, or do we start with Hybrid and work forward as nature intended?

2. LP released quite a few B Sides and Underground songs on their Underground camp and other means. Too many to include with respective albums like usual. Do we do a bracket for all of the other songs, or ignore the bonus tracks?

3. Would anyone be opposed to me making this sort of a charity thing and including a link to donate at a Suicide prevention foundation before each bracket(never a requirement, this isn't pay to play)

Thoughts??

 

1. Hybrid Theory forward.

2. Separate bracket for all Underground/bonus songs

3. I am greatly fine with that idea.

 

1. I like working backwards. The Hybrid Theory and Meteora brackets are going to be probably the most interesting (to me at least haha), so I say save the best until last.

2. I'm fine with totally ignoring the b-sides, remixes,etc.

3. No objections there.

 

Although...if you do start with Hybrid Theory you might get a few more people participating than if you started with the new stuff. I'm really fine with whatever you decide.

 

Going backwards is cool, I don't care about the bonus songs so I'd say keep those separate, and charity is a good idea

Given how this thread has been used so little this might be a good idea.

 

You could also do the albums in a random order but that may be a little too chaotic for everyone haha.
