Perhaps I will - I planned to just set my team at the start of the season and make zero changes/transfers until January, then zero after Jan transfer window and just see where I end up. Too hard to take it super serious anymore!

 

I usually give up after the first week.

Looked at my team and felt reasonably confident that I can do half alright this season. Can't wait to get 12 points this weekend give up immediately.

Also still annoyed I didn't go with the name Fekir Right In Debuchy.

Good. He was disrespectful as hell to a great club. I'm not naïve to the lure of Barcelona if you are a pro footballer, but I would be happy as shit to play for a club like Dortmund at any age, let alone 19/20 years old with an entire promising career ahead of me like Dembele.

 

Absolutely. I can say what I want for the whole Neymar saga, but he showed up for the whole preseason tour (that Nike money and loyalty fee probably had a lot to do with it, for sure) and played and gave his all. There's a professional way to handle it.

Sometimes I think we forget that most of these guys are younger than us now, especially the teens. I'd make some dumbass decisions at 19 with millions on the line, probably.

 

No doubt I would lol. I'd be on strike, pulling some Carlos Tevez shit if I was named on the bench and asked to warm up etc

I honestly fucking give up with this club and it's utterly inept way of treating youth/academy players. If they sign Drinkwater for £25+ million after sending Baker out on loan (who is a perfectly capably deputy for Fabregas) then whoever is in charge of their signings needs to be sacked immediately.

I'd disagree. Y'all have had some bad midfielder injuries and weird shove ins. He'd have been a good constant.

I like Arsenal fwiw. Rarely root against them. I understand the bad blood with Cesc leaving for Barca, but like, his reasoning is pretty hard to not understand on a human level.

 

It's not that I don't think he's good, I just don't think we need another intricate good passer. That said, I'd definitely take him back.

 

I like Arsenal too. They will do a lot better than a lot of people are predicting this year as they've got no CL (and can play the reserves in EL) so they can keep their squad fairly fresh. Lacazette & Kolasinac both top signings too.

 

Just saw that we've moved on from Coutinho for Eriksen. Send them Denis Suarez and 25m.
