not meaning to spam the thread but i just finished nier automata and liked the soundtrack so much i made this thing

the game was great too

 

Nier's soundtrack was real great

 

Nier's soundtrack is a lock for one of my favorites of the year, up there in a top 3 with Pyre and some Falcom soundtrack.

 

Nier is my favorite game of the year by far. That soundtrack is just so incredible

 

I have also recently finished up Nier and came away impressed with just about everything. Did anyone do all 26 endings? I did the first Emil boss once and was like nah I'm good so I did everything but Y or whichever that one was

 

Y is the only one I don't have haha

 

I got all 26, Y isn't too bad just a bit (very) time consuming. I got used to having to find/upgrade all weapons in a Yoko Taro game anyway, felt wrong to finish one without doing that even if I didn't really have to.

 

I'm sure I'll go back to it and get it. I love the game too much not to.

Started Yakuza 0 last night and I'm hooked already.

 

I appreciate you not quoting me so I can continue on knowing people probably think I know how many letters are in the English alphabet

 

I'm still stuck on the mission where you have to scour the desert for old world information because I'm too lazy for that, once I'm done with it I'll have all weapons

 

Anyone know when Player Unknown Battleground coming to XBOX One?

 

All I've read is the projection is for this year on early access program.

 

The first episode of TT Batman is getting some good praise. I need to finish up season 1.

 

We can't discuss soundtracks this year without mentioning the best of all time, Persona 5.

 

I like Persona 5's, but Nier has it beat

 

Persona 5's is fine but left me kind of underwhelmed, much prefer 3 and 4's.

Man, I don't think a game has skyrocketed onto my radar as quickly as Hellblade has. I went from "never heard of it." to "okay, what's this?" to "wait, this is out? might check it out on sale" to "I'm putting every other game I'm in the middle of aside - I need this NOW." Everything about it looks fully up my alley and it's getting glowing marks across the board. Hoping to pick it up today and marathon it this weekend.

Yeah Persona 5 was a soundtrack where half of it felt extremely filler-ish and not good and the other half was PHENOMENAL

Whereas NieR was a consistently amazing soundtrack outside of 1-3 tracks

 

Zelda had some amazing music in it too, so did Mass Effect as usual, also Splatoon

 

I know I have given this site props before but this is really impressive. I encourage everyone to join.

 

Once Nier gets a nice price drop I'll pick it up
