I could be wrong but I can see the order of which bands play in rotating throughout the tour. Pretty sure all 3 bands are about the same level of popularity right now.

 

I'd agree.

ETF and WCAR both went the radio route, kind of worked for ETF but killed their popularity being able to tour with metalcore bands. WCAR tried to go mainstream with their last album and that totally flopped. TWA I feel like has stayed the same course for their entire career. Haven't really gained or lost steam.

I think it's clear at least for ETF and WCAR they are trying to get back into the scene too stay relevant. I think this tour makes alot of sense for all bands.

 

Can't imagine TWA above both WCAR and ETF but good for them if that's the case.

 

There's no way I Prevail (and we came as romans for that matter) are bigger than Escape the Fate. I realize they fell off a bit but they were one of the biggest bands in the entire scene at one point...

 

Perhaps this is another one of those tri-headline tours that we've been seeing more of? Similar to the rise records tour last year or the falling in reverse/MIW/issues tour.

I Prevail + WCAR + ETF with main support from The Word Alive. That would make much more sense billing wise.

 

you're acting like ETF ever play to more than 200 people these days. Bands fall off hard when their majority teenage fanbase grows up. This isn't a new thing.

 

No. This will be a straight up I Prevail headliner. I mean look at their Spotify numbers, 1.3 million listeners. ETF has 900k, WCAR 620k, and TWA 350k. It makes sense.

 

I Prevail is huge right now, they really are. In both the scene and mainstream. They are played all over the radio near me.

If this was the same exact tour but instead the headliner was say like, Avenged Sevenfold, then it gets rearranged because TWA has no pull in the radio rock scene.

i prevail got a song on the fucking billboard top 100 songs. that's enormous and crazy and i don't think even ADTR has done it (albeit it was for a cover, but still)

I Prevail is one of the biggest bands in the scene right now. It's not 2007. The last time ETF played in front of a solid crowd was when they did that Bury the Hatchet tour with Ronnie. Since then, they haven't really won over new fans. Like someone said before, they tried the radio rock route and failed. Now they're starting over with this scene. It's a great opportunity for them and I'm sure most, if not all dates will sell out.

 

They already have a gold single already, I believe

lol.. i saw TWA open for ETF in the same room this tour is hitting and TWA is billed above them. and yes that's the order in which they play. telle told me they play 2nd every night.

 

Looks like the FFAK tour announcement got delayed now. Several tours have been announced already.

Tomorrow will be neat tho.

 

Any reason why? Still waiting on IHW and Invent Animate to announce their tours.

 

I dont know, Ive been watching a Nashville/Birmingham based booking agency announce shows all day, and none of the 5 announcements they had today were FFAK. My guess is the announcement got pushed to tomorrow, at least I hope because if an Atlanta date exists of that tour I am doing what I can to go!
