A year ago around now I was all excited for my Nashville concert and my meet and greet VIP with Blink on the 8th. Oh how much difference a year makes lol.

 

Travis is the only one who knows how to play enough songs to fill a 3 1/2 hour set haha

 

I had a dream last night that they suddenly announced another show in Knoxville for next week and I had to scramble to get money for tickets

Then I woke up and was like "damn them."

 

I have it on good authority the next time you see them live you'll be in good company.

For anyone wondering WTF he's talking about he plans to fly in to Murrica next time Blink plays in my area and go. Anyone else is welcome if it's within reasonable travel for you

Finally made my way up to the To The Stars store. Interesting little place, way smaller than I thought it'd be. Had his whole non-blink discography there on cd and vinyl. Tons of sci-fi figurines all over the place and some books in that genre (not including his own)

 

I was at that show it was fucking amazing best concert I've ever been to and the first time ever seeing the foo fighters live. I will never forget that night

 

First time I saw them play in 2001 they played Happy Holidays twice in a row, once in the dark. So yeah don't know why he said that but it's just Mark with his dad jokes.

 

Mark is programmed like a robot.

 

Do you guys think that the live banter on 'Mark, Tom & Travis Show' is off the cuff or something? It's all part and parcel of putting on a large show.

That's a bit unfair. Foos literally flew in for no reason at all, while Blink was headlining a major festival the next day and had who knows how many other obligations.

 

I don't think it's unfair, considering Foo Fighters do long sets all the time on their full tours, and switch songs a ton too.

 

Outside of 5-8 songs it's been the same setlist since the reunion I'm sick of it they do need to take notes from other bands and change it up all they play are singles and greatest hits. Rise against is the same way yet I've seen them 10 times live while I've seen blink 4 times live. I don't think I'll see blink again until they change up their set list

 

They played the exact same set list for both the after show and headline spot at Lolla. 99% of all other bands I know of would have changed the set list to some extent

 

One song was different. They played Wendy Clear at Metro and Kings of the Weekend at Lollapalooza.

 

Oh wow one fucking song still my point stays the same it's been the same set list since the reunion outside of 5-8 songs from new albums and they don't play anything off of dogeatdog or neighborhoods anymore on this current album/tour cycle

 

One might think that the Metro show was prep for Lolla? I don't care, I had a blast
